The ability to ride horses like in Red Dead ?

Recommended Posts

It was in the game at some point, but cut during development. There's still files and sound related to horse riding. It was also featured in a cut heist. Horses can also be seen in a commercial on tv in game.

I'm conflicted on this. On the one hand, riding a horse in GTA would be a unique and welcomed experience, but on the other hand I kind of think they should keep them for the Red Dead franchise. This may in fact be the reason they were cut from the game. In Read Dead Redemption, they are the sole method of transport and that's unique to the game, but if put in GTA too then that would tarnish the uniqueness. I wouldn't mind horses that couldn't be ridden however.

It would be amazing to ride horses in V. Shooting people on a horse, ride by killings. Pressing R3 to kick people with them would be good too, you could even play as one with the peyotes. It could be that black beauty simulator we've all dreamed of.

It always seemed a bit strange when you wandered round the back of Martin's ranch house to find all those empty stables with not a horse in sight, especially since we have other agricultural or domestic animals. Maybe there's going to be a DLC which includes horses and riding and that's why they've held them back?

We can only hope. Horses would have complimented the rural atmosphere very well.
