Players with more race wins than losses.

I have over 100 more wins than losses.

I play with the same people. They can't seem to finish a race without slamming into a pole and stopping at least once. I often find myself being nice and waiting by the finish line so they don't get a DNF. I think that's the only reason they still race.

There's a guy in our crew who legit has more wins than losses and usually wins every race we do unless he hasn't played the track before or it's a GTA style one.

 

Some people actually enjoy racing and spend time getting to know the tracks, even though it's GTA

 

....not me. Give me super ramp jumps, loops and explosions.

My record is 317-476 (40% win rate), and with my wife's account (she never races) I'm 125-195 (39% win rate). I race clean tho I will road rage if someone is blatantly cheese balling and pitting me. The offender then becomes my target rather than the win and will do my best to continually smash, block or run the offender off the road the rest of the race.

I came across a guy the other day with a positive win ratio of about 100 more wins than losses. Always sceptical about these guys but this dude was really good, raced clean and won them all. I tipped my cap to him after about 10 straight wins on his part.

BTW I raced my Peyote in a sports classic race yesterday. Found myself in 2nd out of 5 after a big pileup at the beginning. Was cruising in 2nd for a bit until the pack eventually caught up and wasn't under any illusion of being competitive, but a guy in a Monroe still felt the need to pit me and run me off the track.....F*ckin Pussy I'm racing in a PEYOTE! Just pass me lol

120 wins and 299 loses. I don't care about losing legit, I just hate when I lose cause I've been pitted. I have fun even if I lose as long as it's legit.

 

If it's legit I say good race and try to remember what I did right and work on it.

Yes. There's also people that have like...300 wins and 10 losses or something. They likely have two PS3's and play in private races against themselves...or they have friends boost races for them.

I'm getting there. I was trash at racing when the game first came out and thats pretty much all I did. But now I'm winning every race with a Bullet and Banshee so I'm good

I have a plus win to loss ratio. I'm just good at racing. Plus I dominate at Air and Water Races too and a lot of the time I'll be in a race with very few people which boosts my chances more. I don't boost either.

When I'm in a race lobby, I sometimes check on the other players stats to see their rank and their victories. But it's all the same, more losers than winners.

 

 

So, are you or have seen someone with a winning ratio?

Anyone who has more wins than loses are definitely boosting their stats..... it's simple probability. You can't expect to race against several other people, thus having like a 20% win chance and expect to have a win record above .500

 

If you finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, etc etc etc etc...... you finish LAST.

 

I wish R* had implemented a way to see your AVERAGE finish.... because if you ain't 1st, you're last and that's annoying.

Calling everyone with more wins than losses boosters is total bullsh*t. I have more wins than losses and that happens if you just are decent at racing for the majority of times you play.

 

Racing clean, keeping it quick, and practice at controlling my car... I win the race, 95% of the time. I'm not some amazing prodigy of racing in GTA, I just don't crash into people, which is the vast majority of racers.

 

The reason I am almost a double level 100 is because of racing clean, but fast too. Racing is the most underrated way of ranking up and making cash, I enjoy it so it's like double awesome.

It really depends on who you race. When racing randoms, I can easily get about 5-10 wins between losses, but when up against other serious racers, like crewmates and friends, the opposite's true: 5-10 losses between wins (if I'm even lucky enough to win one at all!) My current stats are about 550 wins to 470 losses, with losses climbing faster than wins

 

It's not the W/L ratio you should be looking at; it's the total number of races. The guy with 500 wins and 1500 losses is far more likely to know the track better than the guy with 250 wins and 100 losses.

 

On a related note, it's fun watching randoms try to take you out, correctly predict and evade it, and watch them fly off the track If people put as much effort into racing clean as they do into ramming, they may actually win more races!

I looked at my second account the other night which I have made since I learned to drive. I'm 86 wins 45 loses, that's starting from scratch with no cars and no mods up till unlocking everything and buying a Zentorno. All races are joining random quick joins from the phone. Until two days ago the only sports I had was a coquette (I bought a Massacro race car two days ago) and I have no muscle car on that character.

 

That's a decent effort.

I used to have a good racing record but then I started playing in Public lobbies where people think races are a Destruction Derby.

 

I stopped playing until they added the 'no collisions' option and only really try to play those now unless I'm with friends.

Most of the racers seem to have more wins than losses when I join random races. Still none of the seems to know how to drive.

And of course half of them leave the race when they can't win.

 

It's very rare to meet really good drivers in random races nowadays. Like that's really big surprise

The wins in GTA racing are equal to wins in the WWE. They carry no real meaning and your win/loss record is completely irrelevant. Most people have "done the job" to allow friends/crew members to get wins to unlock engine and other mods. Other people have traded wins when the money glitch was out. Even if everyone tries to compete slip streams and catch ups make it easy for anyone to gain the lead or lose the lead. It's all a work.

Racing is not "trash". It works the same as any other racing game when catchup is turned off.
