almost 2000 & I suck compared to ensyy and other crew people.

 

It does depend on driver but two equally good drivers racing the pigalle is the better option...I've also beaten better drivers in z types and monroes using it...

Well I'll admit I'm not the best driver in GTA (about 270 wins, 296 losses), but race me on Forza Horizon 2 and I'll probably lap you

shocking that people good at a game are once again accused of cheating.

 

A lot of people really do cheat, is the reason for that. And this game makes cheating on your race record really easy. Quit a race you're going to lose? No worries, it stays off your record. (And I've seen this literally dozens of times from people with good records who crashed early on... wonder how they stay so spotless.) Trade wins with someone all afternoon? Yep, those all count as real wins. Only ever race against your one friend who can't drive to save his life? Your record is exactly the same as someone who races in full lobbies against real competition. Only host your own custom races with stupid tricks that make it so only you will win? Yep, those are wins alright. Only host races in classes where no one owns a competitive custom car but you? Once again, those are wins.

 

I don't really trust anyone's record. Just like k/d, it's far too easy to game. I DO trust that a person with a really bad record is probably awful, but people with really good ones vary widely in skill level.

 

Personally I'm about +20 on wins over losses. I forget the exact numbers right now, both are around 300. I don't race that much so I think my record is decent. However, a good 30 wins (and losses) came from win-trading for unlocks after I created my second character. I also race sometimes with my friend, and often it's just the two of us, and I beat him 2/3 of the time. So even my own record I take with a grain of salt. I'm a good racer, not a great one.

if you leave it goes on your record...not sure why people keep saying it doesn't...if someone has a crazy record it's because they are good at the game...a few wins here and there perhaps not but big numbers certainly even if the record is negative.

Test it yourself. It doesn't go on your record. And that's by no means the only way to make your record better than it really should be.

W-171 L-157 The only time I boosted was on like the 2nd day gtao was out I was doing CR for RP but thats where about 30 of my losses came from and only about 10 wins. The guy i was boosting with had a modded cheetah and I only had the stock cars.

 

Racing in GTA is mostly just being smart, and using any assists to your advantage. If catchup is on why even take the lead until the last lap? and if theres a fairly large field why even start racing? Unless you can jump out to the lead right away your better off just dropping to the back and letting them wreck and picking them off 1 by 1

When I started off gta o as a noob it was around 100 wins 10 losses. I was really eager on winning back then, It meant something to me. As I started not caring much later on it was around 200 wins 300 losses. Now its currently at 400 wins and around 420 losses. I usually don't play for a couple of months and then go back to keep the game fresh. The last time I actually played this game was last year btw lol.

I have over 100 more wins than I do losses, people accuse me of boosting all the time but as long as I know it's legit I don't really care. I just happened to be really good at racing in this game.

Nobody is "really good" at racing...you either have a faster vehicle, a more proper vehicle, and/or are racing against dumbsh*ts

 

 

I've seen many people who are "really good" at racing, and a few well too. Some just awesome in GTA racing, some just are annoyingly good in every race game they play. A good friend of mine simply owns in every race game he plays, and often even sets world records by instantly seeing what the best lines are, remembering them after just a few laps and having a great sensitive feeling for controls.

 

I have 302 wins and about 370 losses so I'm slowly impriving my W/L but I saw someone before with a win count of 4000 and losses of 2000 which is insane.

 

Funny thing is I beat him.

 

Three times.

 

A lot of times this happens not because they are bad or because you are so much better, but because they don't know the track at all, joke around because everyone quits if they are a minute in front after half a minute of racing;), or just because they race cleanly all the time and forgot about the "average Joe" in GTA only racing to PIT you.

I've won loads of races against far better races because of one or more of those things.

I've got more wins than losses. But it's changing. Most races I do are with some of my crew mates and some of them are incredible fast drivers.

The win / loss ratio says nothing. It doesnt show how much players per lobby you race with or how skilled they are.
