my win loss ratio is really low because of all the boosting i did back in the day. have way more losses than wins...

Mine is in the 400wins-100losses area but that's only because when I created a new account I raced early on with both characters when they were low ranked. Joining quick job races put me with other low ranks, most of whom I guess were new so they werent very good

I find the idea of trading wins repugnant.

 

In a pigalle I always get called a cheat as it woops monroes and coquette classics on any track and z types on tracks with corners

I've been in moments where I had to leave a race because the creator didn't realize the race couldn't be finished because of a jump not made correctly or whatever, and it counted as a loss

Just a random question, are you or have you seen a player whose racing stats has more wins than losses?

 

When I'm in a race lobby, I sometimes check on the other players stats to see their rank and their victories. But it's all the same, more losers than winners.

 

 

So, are you or have seen someone with a winning ratio?

 

I am. 30-18 since playing on PS4, with no "boosting" or anything.

 

My record on PS3 when I used my old PSN account was more losses than wins with a nearly even record, but that was with boosting done for vehicle upgrades. I don't mind not having the vehicle upgrades on PS4 since I decide not to race as much and take it less seriously.

 

Also, I never race dirty unless I get hit first or someone tries to hit me. But any clean racer knows that that only means I race clean up until a certain point in the race, because pretty much every race with randoms get messy.

I don't race that much anymore, but I have more than double the amount of race wins than losses. Something like 400+ to 180. I've never done any "boosting" either, if you don't count doing air races - because when I'm in the air I win 9 times out of 10. So many players suck in the air, it's not even funny. If I want a guaranteed win, I choose one of the technical Besra races that involves zig-zagging through the wind farm, between pylons or buildings. Then I keep 1st place like a boss through the whole race as I watch "xxx comitted suicide" constantly being repeated on screen. Fun for a while, but boring in the long run.

 

I did just enough sea races to get the platinum award for both characters, and then I was done for good with 'em. Sea races are seriously boring. Got 50 wins to maybe 10 losses total, but then again I did stick to grinding a handful of technical races I took the time to learn properly.

 

On land, I still win about 5 out 10 races though. With all the noobs who don't know how to use brakes properly, it doesn't really take that much skill.

And someone earlier said they're clean until hit...you're not clean then.

 

I always focus on getting the win more than getting revenge...always get the win in these circumstances

On a side note. Those wins and losses have been achieved in full lobbies, mostly.

the thing with having a second character is it matches you to equal low levels and they don't know the tracks and don't even have much upgrades unlocked so racing stock it's also kind of interesting and even easier to win.

I'm on about 380 wins vs. 290 losses or thereabouts. I used to host Down the Drain a lot in my modified Felon and I'd normally win unless the cardboard boxes got me.

 

I don't win as much now as I used to, I think over time the ratio will probably even out. There are a few rage quits in there haha I'm not sure if they count towards your total or not.

 

It would be good to see how many times people had podium finishes rather then just first place. It'd give a more balanced view of how good someone is.

Never left a lobby early because I was losing, never Dirty raced (Except against dirty racers), never traded or "boosted" wins. So yeah, it is possible. As long as you learn to downshift and practice. Oh and getting a Massacro comes in really handy too

I have more wins than losses. But I am honest enough to admit that a friend let me win a few in order to unlock car parts.

 

I had the age old problem of getting into races with both high level players who could trash my speed and low level players who only wanted to smash into my car. So my racing skill was pointless. No-one races in GTA, it's a smash-fest.

Yes. There's also people that have like...300 wins and 10 losses or something. They likely have two PS3's and play in private races against themselves...or they have friends boost races for them.

 

My race stats are about even. I love races where the other player quits during a race and leaves me all alone, or just sits at the starting line and never participates. Easy win.

 

I hate GTA Races as it's all a bunch of worthless little Call Of Duty kids that can't race. They have their neon colored Zentorinos and spend the entire race blowing each other up.

 

Had one kid just sit in 2nd place 5 feet in front of the finish line waiting to blow me up. I just didn't bother and hid behind a parked trailer. After 15/20 minutes he gave up and finished the race and then I came in 3rd. Still got about $4,000, so not a total loss.

 

 

when i'm mission-hopping with my crew , I groan when I see a race is GTA cos its more like "wacky races" and is a complete lottery. I also hate first person races.....feels like i'm driving a trampoline
