Is this new PC good for my gaming?

I made a thread about this a month or two ago, but now...

I've been searching around, trying to find my new perfect PC. I believe I've found it!

I want to know what everyone thinks, to see if it really is the perfect PC. I should be getting the PC quite soon, in about two, to three weeks. So worrying about the price in the future is not exactly on my list anymore. :)

Here's a direct link to the PC - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/T6pxkL

The Specs

Western Digital 750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
Thermaltake Versa H21 ATX Mid Tower Case

What does everyone think? :D

If you think I should change the PC more, send me a link to a different one that may work better for me.

I'd choose i3 in favor of FX.

Compared to the rig you posted, this one has more functional motherboard, faster memory, bigger and faster HDD, better PSU (modular, more efficient, better voltage stability), bigger monitor with digital DVI connector (the one you posted only has analog VGA connector). The GPU is slightly worse though.

Reasons:

i3 - Games will favour the better performance per core.

Mobo - same reason as yojo, it's functional.

RAM - lower latency and two sticks (for dual channel use)

HDD - Hitachi's drives generally have a lower failure rate compared to WD and Seagate. It also has more storage than the one you picked

Video card - Didn't touch it. You could knock it down to a 660 if you want to save a bit of money but you'd lose some performance.

Case - It had some decent reviews, it had a decent rating on PCPP and it's from NZXT

PSU - opted to sacrifice some wattage in order to have a higher quality supply.

-didn't touch the rest-

Actually, this Antec is on par with CX500. Not really better in any significant way.

The CX500 is a tier 3 supply. The VP450 is a tier 2 supply. Speaks for itself really...

Depends on how you define "tiers". Both CX and VP are budget, group regulated PSUs with non-japanese caps. They both have MTBF 100k hours. Corsair is rated at 30C, while Antec is rated at 25C. Corsair has 80Plus Bronze certificate, while Antec has none (presumably it will do Standard). Corsair has also more connectors (two PCIe instead of one, five SATA instead of four, etc.). Corsair has three year warranty, while Antec's warranty lasts two years.

IMHO Antec is not better in any aspect, if anything it's a tad worse. Even comparing it with Corsair VS450 there's not much reason to go for Antec.

If it was Antec VPF-450 then yes, I'd definitely agree it's a higher tier PSU.
