XBOX ONE empty lobbies

GTA Online keeps on giving me empty lobbies anyone know how to fix this? Wont let me join with friends either? I checked my NAT and its set to open

GTA V on current gen consoles are all having that issue, so it's mainly on their end.. to join a public lobby where you don't end up alone you just have to keep on trying by going to start > online > find new session after you first get in a game... it will take more than a few tries but eventually you'll find one.

 

I also suggest you make sure to check your NAT type and restart your modem/router and trying again.

A half quick fix is to press off button but leave pressed till goes off (5 seconds) then wait a min and restart , it empties the cache , whhich sometimes helps , not always thought , you would think there priority would be to fix it wouldn't you , lol

My NAT is open but what is and how do you check the type? I don't know much on networking but my NAT is open, always was, and last night I dropped my router firewall and open specific ports recommend for xbox/gta..... still not getting in lobbies.

If it's Open then it's not your fault like I said, I've done the same thing as well as opening ports yet still faced the same issues and so has hundreds of others.

 

Just R* being R*.

 

If you want to join a lobby that isn't empty then do what I suggested which is to wait until you're in-game then press Start > Online > Find new session over and over again until you load with a group of others.

Every time i try to join my friends on xbox one it says we both have to have completed the gta online tutorial and have a valid character. Add me on xbox if you can help Xbox gamertag Grunt Captain.
