justinlynch3
Some chase missions if I play solo I let the objective car reach their destination, I do this for Rooftop Rumble and get a good like 19 grand. I try to do this for Crank Up The Volume, I casually follow, don't do nothing to set the ai off and about 50% of the time the Lost will get the Journey through the mountain, get down in the paths by the sawmill then they'll flip it on it's side, shoot at you like it's your fault, the Journey will blow and it's mission failed. R* if your gonna make a mission at least program your ai's not to purposely fail it. Anyone else get this with this job? ten-a-penny

TotalFacade
I don't think tailing the objective gives you any more money than just killing the driver on the spot...

It burns time, time = money. Though the time you waste for a few extra Gs could be spent on other missions raking in money. I've always done missions the most efficient and speediest way. It all comes down to your own preference/opinion. Edited January 18, 2015 by TotalFacade JC Hammer, ten-a-penny and Webster.

Phantomspirit
Yeah it's usually easier if you let it reach its destination, take cover and take every AI out.... Drive back can be annoying,I now have fun knocking NPC's off their bikes to pass the time...
dewtech
Don't forget the lost are bikers, probably don't spend that long on 4 wheels ten-a-penny

If you're just going to waste time sitting in the mission, grab the RV at the start and park it at the store, then go on your merry way of wasting time. Bikers won't bother you or wreck the RV. XJpostman
That's kind of funny but really, r* should have run it through it's route to make sure sh*t like that doesn't happen. Here's hoping something like this doesn't happen in heists.
TheDoombringer
I was doing this mission last night and the idiots wrecked the RV on the hill close to the saw mill next to paleto bay after they went down it and flipped over

But then that's just screwing around, which I don't bother with. I like trailing objective cars of certain jobs as it feels like part of the mission, you can even claim it to be the right way. Rooftop for example. - Clear out garage. - Stealthly follow document car to his drop off. - Take out the remaining crew at the drop off. - Deliver document to drop off. Basically, it's simply a different style of play and a way to make the job longer without necessarily wasting time as what your doing is part of the intended mission, if you wish to do it. Gantons Most Wanted
I can see where people are coming from it is nice to get a bigger payout but you'd just be better completing the mission as fast as possible. The payout maybe smaller in the short term but it would allow you to earn more money in the long run.
luisniko
I was playing Four Trailers with randoms few days ago. When the other guy was driving the trailer truck out of the parking lot, I saw a granger dashing like a f*cking meteor and rammed the truck upside down. Yes, that included the attached trailer. Mission failed - instantly. And then one day, I was playing Crystal Clear Out with full room randoms. They're all good and proceed tactically. You know what I saw when I was leaning on the wall and turning my camera front? An enemy pop up, right in front of me, shooting a machine gun before even the red dot appeared. Clearly R* never do their own mission. If they did, they must be "Invicibility = On".
Tokin
Not really, because I always intercept the Journey on the bridge.
