This is just to see how many people are having Online issues.

 

Ever since X-Mas, since the hack, I have been having major issues with Online.

 

Please vote if you are having similar issues.

 

1. Getting put into free roam lobbys by yourself.

 

2. Timing out constantly.

 

3. Trying to join a job and receiving the messages

"Failed to join job or activity"

"The session you are trying to join no longer exists" (when it does)

"There has been a network error joining"

 

4. Getting into a job and then getting kicked out.

sometimes "connection to the session has been lost" will pop up

 

There may be a few things I missed out but I would like to clarify a few things before some know it all thinks they can come and talk stuff.

 

I have contacted R* Support

 

All they tell me is to check my NAT, Open Ports, Link and Unlink my Social Club account.

 

Cleared Cache

Cleared Local Saved Games

Re-downloaded my Xbox account on my XboxOne

My NAT is OPEN, 50 - 60 mbps download speed

I forwarded my ports on my router.

I have enabled DMZ

Used ethernet cable

Contacted my ISP everything is fine, even got a new modem/router.

Many of my friends are having the same problems ever since the XBL/PSN Hack

R* needs to be aware of the issue and that support needs to be better instead of copy & pasting or automated messages.

All of the above....except checking DMZ and ports and things on account of being dumb lol! I just set my 360 to auto and hope that, along with my sh*tty hub does its stuff. My NAT is open though....not a clue what it does but meh! Hardly got timed out until whichever update f*cked it up.

I get kicked off with unknown connection error about once an hour. About 50% of the time I'm put into a lobby alone. It's better than it was when I first switched to ps4, but still pretty big problems

Everything has been fine for me on PS4. It was way worse for me on 360.

Could be because gtao is more of a p2p not a R* server hosted game.

You will never have a rock solid connection

There was a post somewhere explaining how the sessions are connected and the things that are and are not on R*'s servers.

I've always had connection issues with GTA Online, on Xbox 360 and Xbox One respectively. Dropping out randomly, being put into dead lobbies... I can't find an explanation other than the Rockstar cloud servers being glitchy.

I always end up by myself in an invite-only. Sometimes with other guys who voted for free-roam after a mission

Which is why with a game this big, it'd be nice to have dedicated servers.

I'm in a closed crew session or an invite only session and I go to a job from my phone that another player is hosting. The job starts before my screen loads and it asks me to spectate. I choose not to spectate and leave. It then takes me into a public session. Very very annoying. It should bring me back to what session I originally chose.

I have all these problems...... and the one where you try to start a job but it sits on the loading screen for a looooooooong time then deposits you in an empty lobby...... it happens alot. -_-

I have a NAT Type 1!

I used the DMZ for my console!

I tried the Ethernet cable.

My ISP has optimized my connection a long time!

I opened my box ports that were required!

I changed five times router for GTAO and I tested them one by one... I had to spend money for five routers and I had to test them one by one! Can you imagine? How is that customers can go to so much trouble to just want to play a game without problems ?!

I reset my router several times!

I rebooted my router a hundred times!

I disabled all firewalls in my routeur.

I removed all the devices that were connected to my router!

I assigned an IP Fixed to my PS4!

I used the Google DNS and OpenDNS DNS!

I also had to change my express ISP subscription for GTA Online!!!

I have tried EVERYTHING! And unfortunately, I cannot enjoy Online for more than 10 minutes without receiving an error message saying that the connection 'was lost due to an unknown network error'. It's been ten year that I play video games and this is the first time in my life I have a problem like this that I have ever had on my other games.

Paying money for online when we receive these amount of errors, waste of money in my opinion. I could get a better reception on the PS3 and that's free
