Could this run GTA 5?

3.4 GHz Intel Pentium D Processor (Dual Core)
8 GB Memory
1 TB Hard Drive (1000 GB)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA5961SZ5256&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Desktop+Computers-_-9SIA5961SZ5256&gclid=Cj0KEQiA4eqyBRDUh7Omv9vCtsoBEiQAspfs8v3E_ZbN9ICGHqilBdYcfvXJ8wKlFhu_Hp2oBUS3sZ8aAoXL8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

I don't know much about PC building or PC's in general. So I'd love it someone could tell me. I know both of them need monitors lol

Or could this run it?

Whats the Cheapest PC Desktop I can get to run this game?

Pentium G2010

4 GB Ram

Zotac GT 730 2 GB

These specs will surely run this game with decent fps.

I have no idea of budget though, sorry.

For $400 you can get yourself a decent, midrange gaming system - a rig with a G3258, 8GB of RAM and a GTX750 should cut it for you. You can substitute the 750 with a 64-bit GDDR5 GT730, but only if the aforementioned config is too much for your budget.

That seems to be a very popular mid-range combo, so I did a quick google search and found the following combo running at "Very High" with most sliders maxed out and at a locked 60 FPS. You can even run it at 1440P at..... maybe around 30-40 FPS with the same settings also (that's a hunch however).

Well, a motherboard and CPU combo alone won't cut it for GTA V as the GT630 just isn't fit for running it at 1080p. Either of the two along with a GTX 950 should do the trick for you if you intend to run it on high if not full details.

I wouldn't recommend the AMD APUs at all unless you are doing 768P gaming. Their upgrade path is very poor and you will find yourself in a stalemate if you want to get a better CPU later down the line.

Hello guys! I'm just wondering if it's possible to run GTA V on my pc.
I checked it on canyourunit, but a friend of mine told me not to trust that site. (Canyourunit said I dont meet the minimal requirements)
My rig info:
GPU - GeForce GTX750
CPU - Intel® Pentium® CPU G3250 @ 3.20GHz

Memory - 4.00GB RAM

Thanks :)

It should work on High, but I'd rather swap the RAM and if possible the processor; GTA V can run on systems with just 4GB memory, but basically it just won't cut it in this day and age. Also, as from what I can attest, dual-cores tend to have issues with the game like with stuttering and asset streaming glitches, not to mention that more and more developers tend to code games with multi-core CPUs in mind.

Will I be able to run singleplayer in 720p with this?

Pentium J2900 (Quad Core clocked at 2.67ghz equivalent to Q8400)

4gb (minimum)

PNY GTX 750 TI OC 2GB

You should be able to hit around Normal to maybe even Very High settings at 768P if you tweak around with the settings.Although I would highly advise getting 8 GB and an i3 in the near future as that will help a lot if you want better performance.

Well I finally got the GPU and Game and woah does it run good. I did tweak it a little with in the settings.xml file and was able to get everything on the very high setting on 1366x768!

Likely on the lowest settings, even more so if you disable shadow mapping through settings.xml.

If you could swap out that GT640 of yours with something along the lines of a GTX750Ti, it should be golden.

Well that is the crux of the problem I was actually going to do that but my old computer took a dump and it was going to cost me more to replace the processor and motherboard so found a great deal on the dell it was around 800 and got it around 500. But im working on saving for a upgraded gt. I will keep the gtx750ti in mind when I have the money to upgrade thanks for the information. Would my geforce 640 work at low resolutions? I am mainly wanting it to run single player mods and use the director modes.

Hi, looking for some advice.

Currently own gta V on ps4, was thinking about buying for PC, Hardly play anymore but single player mods could make it worth it, my problem is my pc is pretty old. It meets minimum requirements but im wondering what kind of detail level and frame rate i could achieve. I guess im worried that i wouldn't even equal my ps4 lol

Well here my specs any help given will be appreciated cheers

It should work as a stopgap GPU more or less, just make sure to dial the details down if you want to run the game optimally.

Just replaced my main editing PC and I'm thinking of using the old one to run GTA V PC

It's got dual I7's so the CPU isn't an issue and 18g RAM but the graphic card I'll have to use is an old Radeon HD 4870 X2

That card is not supported past Vista so I'll have to reinstall Vista 64

I used that card to edit several 4k feature films so I'm thinking it should have no problem with GTA but wondering what others here think???

Thinking about Buying a new Computer, Haven't decided what OS it should come with but I'm thinking I'll go with 7 or 10 (Won't go with 8 or 8.1)

Would GTAV run on the following specs?

Core i5-3570 3.4GHz (This is the 3rd Gen of the I5 processors if i'm correct?)
HD i5 680 Graphics
Ram 4 or 8 GB (How would GTAV perform on 4GB's on this specs if it can run it?)
Windows 7 / 10 64bit (As mentioned I'm still deciding which OS to go with if I end up finding a decent PC)
If that doesn't work then I might just save up a little more to get a better PC with better specs up the line.

You will have to decide which OS you are choosing. For some people windows 10 increased the performance in GTA 5 while for some people it decreased the performance.

On that GPU don't expect much. You should get a GTX 950 or GTX 750 as it will sufficient, I guess.

I think the processor is good. :^:

About Ram, 8 GB should be good.
