Stinky12
GTX 970 SC 4GB Intel i7 4770 @ 3.8 Ghz 8 GB DDR3 Ram at 1866 Mhz 2TB 7200RPM HDD What about me? seriously man, you don't need to show off your fancy rig here Maybe I'll post mine, so his will look just like the others. About the game requirements. Hmm... I don't know. The minimum are based on hardware specs that's from 2007-2008, which is the time when GTA IV launched. Recommended specs are more up to date like a year or 2. Between these 2 sides, they are generations apart. The game has to be well optimized to be able to run on old hardware. tomsk222
i live in India. But will those GPU's run it ? Yes, the 7770 and 250X are above minimum requirements. Make sure you have at least 4GB of RAM and a half decent quad core CPU. Edited January 20, 2015 by tomsk222 archithrevankar

rider735
So, apparently I made a bad choice on some of my parts, so I'm hoping you guys could tell me whether it'll be enough to run the game on ultra. The component I'm most concerned about is the CPU (AMD FX-8120), I've had to tweak the voltage and multiplier quite a bit to get it running without thermal throttling (Motherboard will make the CPU crap itself the moment it hits 53c). My specs: CPU - AMD FX-8120 (Got it working without throttling at ~3.3 ghz) Mobo - Asrock 970 Extreme3 GPU - Nvidia GTX 780 RAM - 8GB [email protected]

Maxrevv
It's weird when I run "Can You Run It" and it said my CPU was not in the recommended section. Mind you, my CPU is an i5-4670. But I think its just a mistake on their part. I mean, my CPU is good enough right? Right? *worries intensify* GPU should not be a problem on my part. Might not get the highest settings on my GTX 760, but at least it can run high smoothly.

Kampret
I have a Intel Pentium G3258, overclocked, with a Gigbyte R9 270 GPU and 4gb ram, could I run it on low-medium settings smoothly? You're greatly underestimating your PC mate. R9 270 packs quite a punch and performs very well for its price. Medium with some on high is guaranteed at 1080p 30. Anyone know if I'm able to run it? 8 GB RAM Win 7 64bit AMD Radeon HD 5670 Intel Core i3 2100. I guess I should be able to run it on at least very low, but I don't really know. Most likely you'll need a new GPU. 5670 will greatly cough up when playing heavy games.
GrindoLindo
if the 5670 is gddr5 it might do low settings, if it's gddr3 then it'll be an issue. i3 2100 3.10ghz 2 cores 4 threads, not to bad, it's the gpu that'll be the question. @florinden if the cpu's gpu is all you have then it'll not be gta v ready.
