I guess you can do medium at 60fps with 1080p.

Wanna hear different opinions please:

Win 7 64bit

Phenom II 995 Quad Core 3.2GHz

4x2 gigs of RAM (2x2 patriot viper, 2x2 other) all RAM is DDR2 (slow, I know)

Gainward NVIDIA GTX 750ti 2GB DDR5

So why are you asking? You seem to know the performance :facedesk: I don't think both of you will do much higher than that in stable 60fps with 2 gb VRAM. My guess, since this is just a "guess thread" till the game is released.

Plan to run gta v at high to ultra at 1920x1080 with 60fps with my rig. Maybe some few tweaks like AA and such to get it to run in stable 60 fps

Intel Core i5 4690K 3.50 GHz

MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB

HyperX Fury DDR3 1600Mhz 8GB Black

Crucial BX100 250GB SSDdows 8.1

I'm guessing that, from the info on graphics settings we have now, I'll be hable to run it in 1080p 60fps with the settings on high/very high (and maybe some AA and stuff)... that's just my guess though

I really hope so, has i updated my PC thinking mainly on GTA V...

what are your PC specifications? :)

They are in my signature. But still:

  • Intel Core I5 4670k
  • MSI GTX970
  • GSkill TridentX 8GB 2400
  • 840EVO 500GB

What do you guys think? I think what i said before (above^^^ in the quote) should be close to accurate...

I know... i should have read older posts and stuff... i know... Anyway... Such similarities on our rigs :p

There are things such as AA and shadows which greatly effect FPS, its dumb to just say "MEDIUM" as that can be medium with AA or no aa/shadows

i7-4770k 3.5GHz

HD 7970Ghz Edition Vapor-X 3Go

Kingston HyperX 8Go

??

Your GPU is effectively an R9 280X. I'd say ultra would be feasible. You might have to reduce some settings if you're looking for 60 frames at 1080p.

Can I show off?

i7-8770K [email protected] 7,8GHz 10nm

nVidia GTX8080 32GB VRAM 2077MHZ/8,5GHz, 16,384 CUDA cores and High bandwith Memory gen 3

128GB RAM DDR5 8GHz

Mechanical HDD no longer exists so 4TB SSD

Fractal Design 10

Being serious now. Do you know what grind my gears? So many people saying PC gaming is dying because of very few people can have powerfull PCs.

"pc is expensive, pc has lots of pirates, pc this pc that, bad pc, weak horrible pc, f*ck pc, pc can suck my weener, pc is bad"

Really? Every day I come to this topic and all I see most, or almost every person here is bawling with powerfull i5, i7's, GTX700 series and GTX900 series

and even some has Titan X. The average systems are also powerfull enough such as FX6300/8350 and nice AMD GPU's like 270(X).

Keep it going and show those idiots how healthy the PC gaming is! PC gaming as in a great base.

Powerfull PCs to run GTAV at 1080p60 can be build for just under 1000€/$.

This topic is getting boring reading all those i5's and GTX 970 lol

j/k

If people have i5's with 970s and they come here to ask if they can run it.. I feel sorry for them I really really do.

As for your PC specs, I think you need the 64GB GTX 8080 :panic:

You are right though 6300/270 will run this game just fun at 1080p 60fps if people understand what settings give significant FPS boosts

A one month old lurker and GTA fan since the original "god like perspective" posting:

Core i7 4700MQ - 2.40 GHz

GTX 770M 3GB GDDR 5

32 GB RAM

Since its a laptop i think i can play with "medium-high" settings smoothly without burning my little penny maker to the ground...right? :|

PS. Expecting regular 30º C in-house for the next months (can be painful...)

Yes, you got a point. Asking if it can run GTAV with an i5 and GTX970...

Ok, I'll upgrade from 32GB GTX8080 to 64GB8080. Thanks for the tip.

In my opinion is FX6300/270 combo a perfect build and I'm saying this with a 4770/780.

I dont see whats so dumb about the answer i gave. Netiher you nor me can say which extra settings that they can run at. So to say medium, High or what ever is a pretty good direction to point out and when the game is released they can try what extra settings they can use and still have a smooth gameplay. So keep your stupied comments by yourself before you make yourself look "dumb".

I wasn't saying your answer was dumb, I was saying the guy saying his 760 is the same as the 750ti is dumb, obviously both can run at MED but one will run with better AA/ shadows than the other

Don't buy pre-build crap. PSU in that trashbin is probably a low-end cheap hardware that can't handle a Titan X.

I'm not sure how expensive the hardware is in Canada but that seems really expensive to me. Building one yourself would be less expensive.

If I build one, how will I know if it'll work? I do know to build a computer, I just haven't yet. I'm a little scared of the no monitor and keyboard working situation.
