My rig:

Pentium G3258

Gigabyte R9-270 Windforce 2X OC edition

8gb ram

Can I play it on lowest possible settings at 30 fps?

I am gonna upgrade my cpu to an i5-4590 at the end of May but I want to know if I can play it before then.

yeah you'll be able to PLAY it but i have no idea what you'll get with that cpu. your gpu beats recommended specs.

once you get the i5-4590 (i have one) you'll get 1080p 60fps medium settings easily since that's what the recommended specs give you.

Hmm I might be able to run it on low..

i7 3960X @ 4ghz

EVGA GTX 690

16GB Ram

1tb 840 EVO SSD

all running on a Asus Rampage IV..

Build is about 2-3 years old, gta iv packed with mods gave some draw distance issues... GTA V.. I dunno..

Not with a GTX 750 Ti, he can't. I'd wager that a mixture of medium and high settings would be feasible.

high-very high settings at 60fps/1080p with light aa a possibility? won't be holding my breath with rockstars track record on pc.

Also what are rockstar games like out of the box on pc folks? have previous ones been patched very often or good to go day one?

what? are you mad? you need a 4 button mouse to have any chance of running this at low settings nevermind medium.

your CPU is good enough for recommended settings but not your GPU.

i'm gonna guess 1080p 30fps on medium settings.

I'm guessing that, from the info on graphics settings we have now, I'll be hable to run it in 1080p 60fps with the settings on high/very high (and maybe some AA and stuff)... that's just my guess though

I really hope so, as i updated my PC thinking mainly on GTA V...

Thanks! I guess we won't truly know until the actual release, but 30fps on medium sounds promising.

Plan to run gta v at high to ultra at 1920x1080 with 60fps with my rig. Maybe some few tweaks like AA and such to get it to run in stable 60 fps

1080p 60fps high easily but i don't think you'll be able to max everything. maybe if you dropped to medium.

I guess you will be able to run it at medium with some tweaks at 1080p at 60fps. Think your GPU are the bootleneck in your setup. But its just my guess.. the game isn't out yet. But I think we maybe underestimate the game. It's still a hugh game with some amazing graphic. Those who lives will see..

Will I be able to run it on my PC at high?

Thank anyone for replying

High? not at 60fps, maybe 30-40 med-high with some AA changed you can run at 60fps

You mean I have to change my GPU to a better one, am I right?

If I am, which would you recommend me?

How much do you want to spend

Let's say about 250-300$

Wait for r9 300 and buy r9 370x/380

Is there something a bit less expensive? :colgate:

something around 250-300$ which will let me run at least medium?

dont wait for r9 300 series! you could get an R9 270 and run the game at 1080p 60fps medium. or if you want to go ever further get an R9 290 (still within that 250-300$ budget) and you'll get high settings no problem.
