Enough RAM, GPU is almost the same as GTX660 in recommended specs only CPU it's a mystery. It has 2 cores/4 threads, no one knows how it will perform. It strongly depends on optimisation so you must wait.

Below spec in cpu and gpu, you can run it, but I won't say you'll run high, not near it.

So, medium? Or would I have to turn it down to low to have it run well?

1080p 60fps. How high can i probably go in the settings? I can play Max Payne 3 maxed out in 60fps except for MSAA that i've turned off.

Hello,

My laptop : Asus N551JM

SPecs:

CPU : i7-4710HQ

GPU : GTX 860M (4GB DDR5)

RAM : 8GB

OS : Win 8.1

Shoould i play GTA 5 on 1080p with solid fps on more than medium graphics ?

Or what do you think i will be able to squeeze from it ?

Thanks for respond.

i5 4670K, 8GB RAM, R9 280X 3GB, Win 8.1.

I'd wager that ultra should be feasible at 1080p. Does the game support Mantle? BF Hardline runs like a dream with it enabled.

High for sure. Strong CPU, nice GPU and more than enough RAM. Of course, everything depends on optimisation but you have little monster in you case so don't worry.

Theoretically you almost meet recommended specs, you shouldn't have problem with mixed medium and high settings but you must wait for more information till release, it depends on optimisation.

Rockstar didn't tell anything about Mantle so it's rather not supported... About your PC, high for sure, for ultra you will propably need better GPU and overclock a little bit this CPU. It's of course only my opinion.

Nice CPU, enough RAM but we need more information about GPU model, you've only told us that's R7 200 Series.

i3 4150 is not bad, its equal to AMD FX 8320 in some games, in some its better and in some its a bit inferior. Its dual cores are very powerful and compared to i5 3470 fps difference would be about 5 or so. GTX 750 ti is indeed very close to GTX 660. Im getting i3 4160, 8GB ram and GTX 750 ti soon in May i cant wait.

That's a terricle CPU. You need to buy liquid nitrogen to cool down that piece of turd a little bit.

Have you the build already?

No luckily, it's the most expensive AMD CPU so I assumed it was good enough.

Would Intel be better? Or just a different AMD one? Thanks for any advice :)

Good. You'll need a serious watercooling for that CPU.

Go for Intel. i5-4690 is the best CPU for gaming.

Yes, your GPU is R7 200 Series but we don't know if that's R7 265, R7 260X, R7 260, R7 250X, R7 250 or R7 240. There're few versions of this card family.

Well, in most games this CPU is behind Intel i5/i7 CPUs. It depends on game, in few it perform on the same level as i5 4670 but overally it's not a good choice for gaming. Better take Intel i5 4690K or Intel i7 4770K if you need powerful CPU for some work like video editing etc.

Do not get that CPU, some say it's just a overclocked FX8320 or FX8350 with 2x the price tag. Grab a the cheapest socket 1150 Core i5 or the unlock Core i5 4690K. Want something better than a Core i7 4790k or Xeon E3 1231 v3. You don't need 32GB unless you do content creation. 16GB will be plenty for GTA V.

high 1080p 60fps stable not 100%, you will most likely need to tweak a few settings to get stable 60 fps but that just depends on how well the game is optimized

Alright, I was also wondering if it's a big fps boost to play on 720p instead of 1080p.

Looking at this, I can barely notice the difference
