l already said in your another thread

FC4 gpu min.req. are like twice the V gpu min.req.

ofc your gpu isn't for gaming but

if you can run FC4 at medium and stable you should hope at least low settings 30fps for V too

just ignore the elitists your gpu is stronger than mine

the only thing you should worry is about overheating

How about this sh*t:

Intel core 2 quad q9400

Sapphire radeon hd 6850 1gb GDDR5

4GB RAM

It's still a sufficient low to midrange build. 6850 is a hell of a card.

I thought you said that far cry 4 's requirements is twice gta v 's requirements.. so shouldn't I be able to run it higher?

Cpu: AMD FX 6300 (6 x 3.5 GHZ - Turbo 6 x 4.1 GHZ)

Gpu: Radeon R9 290 TRI X OC - 4 GB - (SAPPHIRE) - (PCI-E)

RAM: Corsair 8GB XMS3 PC3-12800 1600MHz (1x8GB)

Windows 7 64bit

What am I looking at here assuming the game's as well optimised as it deserves to be?

a lot of bottlenecking ,fx6300 is the best paired with r9 280 (even r9 280x req. oc to 4.2ghz)

A 6300 can't be that bad. My 760K which is essentially a FM2 version of 4300, in which is a 6300 with 2 cut cores, can easily handle a 280X.

theoritically yes

but l wouldn't expect that.

smooth at medium is the best scenario

You can run on the minimum possible settings. Q6600 is the basic requirement of using a Core 2 Quad. So, you should be good wuth the settings. SAPPHIRE HD 6850 1GB GDDR5, it's a really old GPU and good for running games older than 2012. So, I'm a bit doubtful about it. Are you on Windows 7?

Intel i5 4670 3.40Ghz Quad Core

8GB DDR3 1600Mhz

Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

What settings can I play at? I don't really play PC games that much, all I play is CS:GO really

What about my old lenovo y570?

i7-2630QM

8GB

GT555M

it should handle low-medium-ish 1366x768 at 25-30fps, doesn't it?

There should not be a problem, you're in between minimum and recommended.

Love Lenovo laptops.

That sounds about right. Medium-ish

RAM and processor should be good for it. Just the GPU is a weaker link.

What ya guys think about following -

First of all it is a laptop, i know it SUCKS, but well my job requires travelling so yea.

System Specs -

Processor - Intel Core i7 4700MQ @ 2.4GHZ
Ram - 8 Gigs @ 1600MHZ
OS - Windows 8.1
GPU - Nvidia Geforce GT 740M

I think, it should run fine @ medium settings, any views ?

You've a system good enough for recommended settings or the medium settings, maybe even. You shouldn't have any trouble reaching 40 to 50FPS.

Probably low to medium. Depends on which version of GT 740M you've got. The GK107 version is much faster than the GK208 version.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-740M.89900.0.html

In addition to an older version with the GK107 chip (384 shader, 810 - 895 MHz, 128 bit memory), there also exist models with the new GK208 (384 shader, up to 980 MHz plus boost, 64 bit memory).

That'll be low settings actually. A decent processing speed of 3.2GHZ is recommended for medium settings, unless you've a high turbo boost rate.

You're talking about CPU clock rate, right? i7 4700MQ is using Haswell. A 2.4 GHz Core i3 can easily match my 4.2 GHz Athlon X4 760K. His 4700MQ is probably on-par with a desktop i3 4130.

Get your facts right, you're embarassing yourself.

That's a quad core, 8thread i7, 2.4GHz and 3.4Ghz with Turbo Boost.

It blows away any modern game. Mine is 200mhz slower and games like Far Cry 4, GTA IV and Dying Light haver used more than 60% of the CPU

Guys.. Remember.. Rockstar said

"Over time, downloadable content and programming changes will change the system requirements for this game."

I think that the sysreq will change alot.

If they post too high sysreq, they wont get as many preorders..

Just remember my words..

I think even my rig wont handle ultra in 60fps at 1080p

nope you will handle 60fps 4k lol,why wouldn't you handle 1080p60 you have the best gaming gpu and a i7
