No proof other than a clickbait website. Indeed. Why are you pre-ordering? Don't you remember the sh*t port named IV, don't you remember Destiny, Titanfall, Watch_Dogs and Unity? Four games I warned people about, so it's safe to assume I know what I'm doing when I pre-order something, which I almost never do. Exceptions being GTA V and the Witcher 3. As to why we are pre-ordering, maybe we just have the money right now and we might not have it come March? Maybe we just want the ingame cash bonus and we think shelling out 60 bucks now or later won't make any other difference than ingame-cash-bonus/no-ingame-cash-bonus. Main reason, though, we're going to buy it anyway, so what's the difference? And GTA IV, that was 6 years ago dude, seriously, it was a new engine, the 4 cores CPUs were a new thing and it didn't run that well even on consoles. Give it a rest. SlaveZer0 Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) even if the game needs a patch you will still be waiting... might as well pre-order and get the bonuses... otherwise STFU and stop giving people a hard time for making their own choices (unless your mommy and daddy give you no choices so you are trying to pass it on?)... the game is going to be good, and even if their is some trouble everyone kept playing gta iv to this day and the game is still broken... I think rockstar knows they f*cked up on the last gta... but that's why its been delayed, to make sure it is right from the start. now most of us are adults here... but I love to see you all belly aching like children. and no this game is not a direct port, only textures and assets to make programming easier were ported, the game code that it runs on is all new made for a decent scalable range on pcs so it can be enjoyed by more people. For the first time in years Im getting a physical copy, I didnt want to risk the store running out and me unable to get it on release. 2. Im gonna buy it regardless. Ive been waiting for it for so long now, and I havent searched the web too much about it (except for some multiplayer stuff) so it will actually be quite new to me. Question is WHY pre-order instead of waiting for the official release. You don't really have anything to gain from it, you only get some chump change to spend ingame and a free copy of a game you probably own already and if so wouldn't receive a gilftable copy of it (essentially getting punished for being a loyal customer, the irony). I'll just wait and see how the game really performs on an i7-4770 and GTX780 before I buy it. However, I'll also be trying to find a second-hand copy of GTAV.
