I don't blame him. I use passive when I'm selling/moving the Dubsta 2s. Sometimes I feel like doing business without dealing with knuckleheads.

 

That's a totally different thing. There's one HPV for all the players in the session to fight over. When you take some vehicle to sell that anyone can have spawn, you can go passive all the way...no one will flame you for doing that.

passive is a ingame feature. deal with it folks. ffs stop offering private sessions, this isnt a option to anything apart from private playing. Just because the OP decides using a in-game option for a few minutes to steal a HPV doesnt mean the rest of his session should be played totally alone. Fuk off with your private session option. If you have a issue with a in-game option being utilised tell someone who gives a fuk like R* that you want it changed.

As been mentioned already in this thread, if HPV's is your thing, Invite Only is the best place for that. Not only do they spawn quite regularly, you can deliver every car in mint condition for max payout ( which can be pretty crappy depending what car you bring). The only thing I bother to go after in Public Free Roam are Crate Drops, and sometimes the Lester Targets. If I'm near a HPV, I might go after it for laughs if anything. Usually take it LSC. Plant Remote/Ignition bomb, then drive out, and smash into some walls before going off Radar. I'll then ditch it someplace where it looks like I was gunned down by someone, and it's free to take. Then watch the fun.

In PS4/X1, they can take out gun, but only to kill NPC, not fellow players trying to grab it. So none of them are actually gaining more advantage. What's the problem then?

Also to those who complain about it, just remember that it's there for everyone to utilize to their advantage, which I myself demonstrated perfectly in this video imo, if I weren't to go into passive mode, I'd almost certainly be killed by the explosives &/or the gunfire at the end.

& I'm sure many would make the point that, that's where the fun lies in this & that passive mode only serves to kill that fun, which is true for the person trying to steal the HPV, whereas the same thing certainly can't be said about the person trying to deliver the HPV, that's for damn sure.

I've got no beef with people who are already in passive, get to the HPV first and proceed to sell it. They won the race fair and square. I myself enjoy the element of danger and took a vow long ago to never use passive for any reason and if I lose the HPV to someone, this is also fair enough.
