Also to those who complain about it, just remember that it's there for everyone to utilize to their advantage, which I myself demonstrated perfectly in this video imo, if I weren't to go into passive mode, I'd almost certainly be killed by the explosives &/or the gunfire at the end.

& I'm sure many would make the point that, that's where the fun lies in this & that passive mode only serves to kill that fun, which is true for the person trying to steal the HPV, whereas the same thing certainly can't be said about the person trying to deliver the HPV, that's for damn sure.

Didn't we just talk about this whole stupid thoughts thing? Also, I assure you, we have better grammar than that. Granted, I'm not even a "passive mode hater", ahah. Passive is fine in general, but the point of HPV was that anyone in the lobby could fight for it to get the payout.

Well played OP. Utilising the game to it's fullest. Enjoy the dosh. Fek these moaners. You need money and the game has the option to do passive. You'd be a fool if you didn't use it.


so how much fun would you have had had the first guy been a little bitch and been in passive mode

he would have went and done something else. no biggie. It's a option in game. use it. If used wisely it's a great ability.

Guys private sessions have the HPV too so... using passive to deliver it doesn't really make a difference if you don't want to fight for it.

You are noob. You should have driven straight to a garage after stealing HPV. But instead you drove away and gave him time to put sticky bombs everywhere, it is your tactical defeat. And you wanted to fix this by turining on passive? So noob.

I wonder why people are angry towards Passive Mode user, unless the user is abusive, of course.

 

I mean, it's Public Mode and there are negative and positive sides when playing in it. Then when someone get into Passive Mode just because he doesn't want annoying players to come and disturb him, the griefer doesn't like it and tell the guy to go to Invite Only.

 

Rockstar oversaw the troll/grief problem in public and so they made Passive Mode. So yeah, Rockstar gave that feature and so they set the rule. Passive Mode users are basically still playing under R*'s rule. It's just the grievers are butthurt, act like they own the whole game, and tell people who doesn't like to get killed to play The Sims because this is 'GTA'. If R* wanted the players to kill each other 24/7 because this is 'GTA', there wouldn't be Passive Mode, Solo Session, or even Co-op mission since the beginning.

Getting upset about it on a forum is the noob thig to do. Learn and adapt dude. If it really upsets you that much, there are still ways to grief (let's face it, that's what this is all about - not being able to grief the dude minding their own business, playing their own game) the person in passive in the HPV.
