I sent this to the imaginary R* developers email a while back. Thought some here might appreciate it.

 

 

Conversation between R* developers Trent and Biff, sometime during early development of the game.

 

 

Trent: Hey we get to work on more cars today. I can't wait. So what's up next?

 

Biff: Meh, the Bravado Gauntlet, and Bison. Time to leave our "A games" at home.

 

Trent: What? Why?

 

Biff: Dude, I'm a Ford man through and through. No way I'm gonna make Dodge look good. The Ram truck and...puke...Challenger replications are about to be quick and easy! In fact, I've already got the bodies done. Check it out.

 

Trent: dude that's just wrong. The Bison looks wimpy, and, my god, those headlights on the Gauntlet are ridiculously bugeyed. People love the Challenger, and you're making a joke of it. Are we at least adding cool mods to it like the Dominator and Sandking?

 

Biff: lol. Hell no. Again bro, this is Dodge.

 

Trent: dude, the fans are gonna be pissed.

 

Biff: ugh, fine! Here I'll throw them a bone and make it the only car in the game with working foglights.

 

Trent: I guess that'll have to do, but you've really ruined the Dodge image.

 

Biff: great idea! We'll name the next victim of my Ford infatuation, the Ruiner!

 

Trent: what's that?

 

Biff: ah, it's just a combo of the Pontiac Firebird, and the Chevy IROC Z. Oh it's about to get trashed! Lol

 

Trent: I'm really starting to think you need help.

 

Biff: whatever. Check this out. Ima start with Nissan headlights! Lmao. That oughta really piss off those Chevy American muscle car purists!

 

Trent: Wtf? Dude you gotta stop. And why is it so tiny? You have to change the size. Those cars were much bigger and beefier than the modern Mustangs, and you have that thing looking small next to the Dominator.

 

Biff: negative ghostrider! That's how it should be! FORD RULES! Lol

 

Trent: you better hope it never gets out that you did this. You'll get death threats.

 

Biff: nah homie, we're covered. Did you see Kent's Pegasus idea? Lol, our idiot fans will be way too pissed about that to worry about our cars much!

 

 

 

Okay so maybe this conversation never happened, but it sure would explain things. Lol
