Sche Posted January 17, 2015 Share Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) I'd like to get it, because a good friend who doesn't have much money to spend for this stuff, but who finally earned money to upgrade his PC, would pretty much like to play the game with me, after I introduced him into GTA. Met him long time ago while lurking around on a multiplayer mode of Gothic (you might remember this old game). He finally managed to recieve money to upgrade his PC and so far it looks like he would be able to play the game on medium settings. Unlike me, he's managed to hold off playing it on consoles and was devastated when I told him about the second delay, but his spirits quickly rose when I showed him the pre-order announcement today. We doin dis clean. But then I realized I'm a bit of a tough spot, and might f*ck myself financially if I did just get it. At this point R* delayed GTA and bought me a new lease on life. Currently between jobs but desperate to get it, it'd definitely lift a large rock off my shoulders if suddenly the game was given to me for free. Either way I'll somehow get it by the time it comes out. Planning on finally playing it etc, but that's all secondary to me and my friend making a machinima in the editor. Currently I'm unsure how much more power(if any) the R* editor will give us compared to IV, but we're planning on making an original concept work, much superior than the amateurish snapmatic stuff made on consoles. Even planning some post editing if we can render to a video file properly. Reason: I believe I deserve to win this mainly because I am lacking the $$$ to buy it myself and I have been waiting for this game for quite some time, I did play it on my Xbox 360, but gave up on it about a month or two ago since I can't stand looking at the horrendous graphics on the LG console version. As well, I'm really looking forward to this with a friend of mine, and he already got his pre-order and I won't be able to play it at all unless I get my pre-order which I hope to win, so later on in March I can look forward to playing alongside my friend.
