winter_wolf100
Hi, I understand that JP stands for Job Points, but what are they and what can they do? I usually get around 15 for most jobs, but i dont know what they are for.
Toasted-Cheese
They help towards voting after jobs for the next mission , race etc , if you have the most job points the vote will swing in your favour TheNarrative, BamaGoodfella, Above Omnipotence and 2 others

EKGene
You can also see how active a player is in regards to participating in jobs and such in a session, as these players seem to be more receptive to job invites, in case you feel like taking a break from killing in free roam and participating in a race or doing some missions with others. dewtech
When in a playlist, it will dictate the winner based on JP. ten-a-penny and BamaGoodfella

IamCourtney
They help towards voting after jobs for the next mission , race etc , if you have the most job points the vote will swing in your favour Not true. Everybody's vote is weighted the same unless there's a tie in which case the host's vote decides the winner. All JP does is determine the winner of a playlist. Vangelo
Jp=just pointless What's the point? Exaclty Well video games are all about getting points and cool stuff I mean that's a huge part of the game anyway. JP is just another thing to be happy about and make it feel like playing the job is worth your time.
jtet37
No i dont mean to be rude or anything, just making a funny. Theyre ALMOST pointless haha My theory: jps, the sentinel guy, and heists are related. The sentinel guy is a recruiter/scout, watching the top tier of criminals as they complete missions and accrue jps, then once you reach a certian threshold....whatever a decent amount is 50? 80? 1.5 hours of job time.....then recruiter contacts you, hes seen how much good work you do, and he points you in right direction to get a heist started. You have proven yourself ready for some long hours over a few days, not just a randumb mission here n there for fun. Martin wants one of those jets from the aircraft carrier, hes had his guys watching and he chooses you . Or whatever idn But thats how i wrapped those 3 unknowns together... jps, heists, sentinel guy.....
hornedturtle
Step 1: start a new character Step 2: pay attention to the text popups Step 3: find out jp is there for determining a winner for playlists Step 4: Step 5: profit. jtet37
