TheEightFingeredMan
I am not really a PC gamer, I play a few games on it but for the most part my PC is pretty sub par. It can run skyrim on medium with several mods. I simply need to upgrade my CPU to meet the minimum requirements for GTA V. Minimum means low settings right? And what can I expect from that? Will it look like PS3 graphics or PS4? Would you consider PS4 graphics medium PC graphics? Would it have at least 30fps? Keep in mind, I mostly just want the PC version for mods and FPS mode, but I don't want the game to look and run like absolute sh*t either. I just want a little enlightening on the subject before I spend money on one upgrade and regret it entirely because the game isn't even worth running. If it helps I could post my specs. TheEightFingeredMan
Sarcastic posts aside, as a PC gaming noob, all I wanna know is if it would be more or less expensive to just give in and buy a PS4 instead of upgrading my PC enough so that it isn't a totally awful gaming experience. Either way I'm a broke college student so it might be hard to fund it. Marc79
If you have to ask, I'd just get a PS4, if you don't have at least $800 bucks for a new build don't bother and get a PS4, you'll have much better experience playing this game on a console rather than old PC with newer parts. You'd have to start the PC buld from scratch, I mean, new CPU/MOBO/RAM/OS/GPU/PSU etc, its sounds like your current PC has an old Pentium dual core, which will struggle with this game, and any modern gpu you trhow at it....Fresh build from scratch, or PS4/XBONE. daformer
The minimum graphic card requirements are Nvidia 9800GT and AMD 4870. These came out in 2008, i would say these would be similar to the PS3 and Xbox 360 performance. Im going to assume the minimum CPU requirements are also released around that year. The GTX 660 and AMD 7870 from what i hear are equivalent to PS4 and Xbox One in terms of their GPU's. The best answer i would say is to wait untill the game comes out , that way you can see on youtube and forums what people's setups are and how their performance is. SausageTaste
32 bit computer can't run the gamm, right? Then minimum requirements matter? I mean most of 64 bit supporting hardwares exceed the minimum reqs. Am I wrong?
