So what happens if you transfer from ps3 to ps4 but randomly go back to play on ps3 for nostalgia?

Nothing. All progress made on last gen after transfer won't have any effect on current gen.

 

Heard that bad sports might be an exception, but I ain't sure.

From what I understand nothing. You now have two independent games which you can still play. As the transfer was a one time only thing any progress you make on LG and NG are kept totally seperated. Hope that makes sense lol

You pick up from where you last played it on old gen,

 

Your ps3 and ps4 characters are now basically, two separate characters.

Nothing will have changed since you made the transfer since the 2 sets of characters aren't in tandem.

 

When you sign back in on PS3 your character will have the same amount of money, the same clothes, the same house and the same cars he/she had before you made the transfer.

I've played with a few people on 360 who, at the end of missions, got 0 RP and $0, which is my understanding of what happens when you revert back.

Nothing happens. I still play on ps3 sometimes. It's just the same as it was, it's an independent game save. The only difference is I'm a white chick on ps3 and a black man on ps4 .

Lol, the thing you really notice going back to ps3 is how there's like zero recoil on the guns, where in ps4 they are firing all over the place. Just one more sneaky thing they did to increase the difficulty in getting money.

Thats one of the things I really like about the PS4/XBONE version. They're finally starting to make certain aspects of the game harder, I just hope that soon they'll make it so that we can't knock over metal lamp posts, right now we can knock over steel lamp posts but driving into a wooden one is like driving into a giant boulder.

That and what looked like a very good game now likes dull, boring and washed out compared to the improved texture and lightning on PS4/Xbone. PS4 is an even bigger difference since the PS3 Version had no grass whatsoever and just a flat texture everywhere.

 

Have played a few times since I got the PS4 Version (mainly when the Servers went down and PS3 was still up).

This is pretty realistic actually... obviously they don't go down as easily irl as in GTA but metal street posts are generally attached with bolts at ground level to a concrete base while older wooden poles are driven several feet down into the ground. Welp, seeya! *window vaults into the weaniemobile and peels off*

Oh well I guess it's not that much of a fault on R* then but they could at least make the metal ones more sturdy.
