It would be an unique experience. Additionally, I would hope they properly meld the three games into one. So basically you could visit a night club as Johnny, Niko could use the explosive shotgun, and Luis could listen to the IV version of Vladivostok FM. It is from a wishlist topic, but I feel that it would be good in the remaster. For New Liberty, completely rebuilt Liberty City featuring much larger Broker, Dukes and Bohan boroughs. In addition a more realistic scale Francis International Airport coupled with the introduction of a Long Island expy (perhaps Lanky Island). In addition an 'upstate' country styled NL would provide a sharp contrast with the urban hustle and bustle of LC. A small selection of towns each featuring purchaseable safehouses and fast food restaurants and various shops with the largest town featuring its own smaller airport to provide additional choices for those who wish to partake in aviation activities. In addition to these areas, a Staten Island expy (perhaps called Staunton Island) reached only by vehicular/passenger ferry can be inserted south west of Algonquin. As for the state of New Alderney a similar expansion to the north, west and south, featuring its own airport called the Aderney International Airport Each geographical area would be patrolled by the appropriate police agencies so a repeat of the large mistake of LCPD police cars patrolling in another state can be avoided. For New Liberty the LCPD patrols LC, the New Liberty State Police patrols the rural areas of the upstate region. In addition each town would have their own police dept. On the other side of the Humboldt River the Alderney City Police Department would be involved in policing Alderney City and surrounds while satellite cities would have their own police departments. State wide patrols would be staffed by the New Alderney State Police. All police vehicles and officers would be using correct uniforms and liveries. Cheers. I hate admitting it, but there's only so much you can do to bring IV up to V's visual standard without a complete reworking, it's like the equivalent of making a large DLC or something (the dev team that can't even fulfill the 2-year-old promise of heists. I don't care anymore, but the f*cking principle of that...) Do you honestly think they care about IV so much for a re-release? R* seems to have forgotten and condemn it as easily as their fans have for the stupid superficial reasons as car handling and brown visuals. I doubt that a ten year re-release celebration would merit anything more than maybe some new collector's edition of something, posters, hats, t-shirts, that sorta sh*t. All that said, my highest hopes go for a big anniversary. I can't believe they patched the game a couple months ago with that little Kate fan request, maybe we are in for a surprise. Well I can't speak for GTA but I know when Ubisoft released a remaster of the original three Splinter Cell games, they were well received and them games were on the original Xbox and PS2. And fix "Jim" in that subway mission to the real Jim model, that was a pet peeve of mine. And add outfits for Johnny...... which got cut. The weapon wheel is what I want though. Being able to carry around EVERYTHING is epic. Instead of swapping the RPG out for the Grenade Launcher then back because you feel like using something else. Plus Johnny could actually get a decent amount of cash if he had access to cage betting. All features from the DLC and vehicles/weapons can be used by all three of them. Except Johnny/Niko can't go into Hercules and only Johnny can interact with the biker stuff. Maybe add a Gang/Drug War thing for Niko so his fans can do that. I'd be Johnny most of the time. I think that the game should stay in it's current state, as even though I still find it modern, it's almost a time capsule to a time were everybody was afraid of the war on terror, the auto-tune hip-hop and Hummers being popular, hah. It's a great era that I've grown to appreciate over time, even if it's lackluster to the nostalgic atmosphere of Vice City, it knows what it is and doesn't try to be funny, doesn't try to be cool, it is what it is. The artisian masterpiece that people hate because it's not solely focused on being a video game. And if they return to Liberty City at some point I expect something much bigger, a totally new Liberty City map. That would be great.
