I want to increase draw distance in Vice City, but encountered some problems while trying to use the mods which are supposed to do it. It annoys me a lot in Vice City when pedestrians and cars spawn out of the thin air, it breaks the immersion completely. I found VC: Traffic Mod (http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=2160) which supposedly resolves this issue, but Vice City (Steam version) crashes when I start a new game if I install this mod. I'm sure I installed it correctly: one only needs to drop the files in the main directory, although one file (vcversion.dll) is missing in the GTA Garage link, I found it in another mod (VC: Martial Arts). The game still crashes regardless of whether I use vcversion.dll or not. Is there a way to make this mod work with a Steam version of Vice City or is there any other mod which makes the game spawn pedestrians and vehicles at a far distance and not in front of the player?
