Will I be able to activate GTA V on steam if I buy it from Rockstar's Warehouse ?

nope.

NO digital sh*t. Box ;)

Just imagine having 20 latest titles on DVD's for example from Ubi, Rockstar, Square Enix etc, and having to patch each game manually, while the "digital sh*t" Steam as you describe it does it all for you...

Maybe you have 3 games, then that I could understand, but many have 100+ games in their Steam library.

Most of the disc games nowdays are also patched automatically.

Plus, you can't disable patching on steam versions (i.e. you're forced to patch GTA SA, which means removing songs).

Most of the disc games nowdays don't need the disc for startup, this isn't 2005.

Ok, point taken..........

I have about 5 PC games on DVD's (older games) one which is GTA IV retail and GTA IV complete edition, the rest are on Steam/Uplay/Origin.

Remember disks can easily scratch, but since nowadays you don't need DVD while running a game, I guess that its not an excuse. For GTA IV you need to insert DVD in order to play though, but its an older game.

Most of my PC games are physical (I don't have too much games on steam), in case of GTA IV Complete Edition, I have it on Steam entirely because I don't want to be bothered inserting the DVD. (although before that I had the physical version and I still do)

I will most likely get the physical version when it comes out and get the Steam version when it get's piss cheap.

Do you have friends on Steam and are you using Steam regularly? If so go for Steam version.

IF you don`t have friends on Steam and you are not active there and want one of the offered games? Go for the Warehouse version.

Warehouse digital :) because steam s*ck. and for don't have the f*cking overlay of steam (slow down your computer, take more memory..)

Obviously, Steam is an additional overlay that take additional RAM from your system. In this case I'd choose the R* Warehouse version (if your computer needs that additional RAM).
