Rockstar Warehouse digital download gives you a free choice of your choice while Steam gives you GTA San Andreas, a game I'm not really interested in since the graphics is just too poor.

What did you guys choose and why?

If I can somehow scratch the money together I'm going with Steam. Lost my SA copy anyways and can't buy on Warehouse because an ID is needed.

Can't you make another account?

Well, since you don't want San Andreas then you might be better off with the Rockstar Warehouse. :p

I don't know if you ever played SA, but I do recommend that game if you never tried it, tho. The graphics are obviously outdated, but it is probably the GTA with the most content in it, you'll probably be busy for a while if you want to 100% that game.

if you pre order on steam you will get a free copy of San Andreas.

On rockstar warehouse, i get to choose any game from their list.

What do you mean by that? Another R* Account?

You can actually trade your GTA SA but I doubt it would worth that much, so just get the Warehouse edition.

If I choose Rockstar Warehouse, what is the platform used to download the game?

I already replied to your post in another thread.

If you don't have Max Payne 3, go with Rockstar Warehouse and choose that as your free game. Amazing PC game. Single player is great and multiplayer is still running but unfortunately too many hackers.

Rockstar said the digital version would also be available at other retailers so why not wait a few days and see if they have better prices or benefits?

The last sentence...

EDIT: It's already available at GMG for 46,20 euros with the code SAVE23-PEROFF-MOSANT.

My concern would be MOD support?? Will Steam allow any mods we wish or just the Steam Workshop ones? I assume the Rockstar Warehouse version wouldnt care....

But I get nexus mods on Skyrim even though its a steamworks game?

Depends on where you keep your library, I for one, would chose Steam, because all my games are there, and I like to keep things organized.

You are writing off one of the best games ever made because of graphics? Lol

I'd like to buy GTA V + LA Noire, but only if I can have both on Steam. I know R* Warehouse doesn't allow it, so I'd prefer to buy GTA V on Steam, though I've got GTA:SA, if I can give new GTA:SA as a gift I'd give it to my brother or a friend.

But I'm still waiting, I have time til february 1st.

I also use Steam for everything but i decided to go with Warehouse since Steam will only launch the game. Plus i don't know when they will let Steam buyers to pre-load but i know that if i bought it from their Warehouse i will be one of the firsts to pre-load the whole 65 GB :)

I think that finally I'm going to choose Rockstar Warehouse.

I read here (the following link), that you get an "installation file". So, I suppose, this file I can save it in my hard drive like a security copy :)

And also, if I pre-order in Rockstar Warehouse, I can choose "Max Payne 3" :) (in Steam, the gift game is San Andreas, and I have already got it).

i use steam, but i don't like it. Because we need to leave open steam for playing steam game (and i don't want to keep any software open when i play)
