mszigeti Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 So since the recent delay, we've read a lot of rage comments about not buying the PC game or switching to console, but is there anyone here who actually did it and wasn't just bullsh*tting? Just asking becouse i did today, bought a PS4 GTA V bundle a few hours ago, gonna play the game tonight. I have to say i'm a 100% PC gamer, never owned a console before, have always hated the controllers (although haven't tried the PS4 or XONE, only the last gen), but i feel like i have to try it on the long run. Besides GTA V, there are a few exclusive titles which are worth owning a PS4, so this delay was kind of my excuse to make the purchase. Sure a bit pissed of about the delay and no im not one of those losers that canceling there pre orders i can wait. if they deliver a good optimized pc game im happy and willing to wait a bit longer. LOL I will wait as much as it is needed till this game is going to be released for PC! I can explain it easily, the reason i'm able to wait two more months is that i'm not as hyped and obsessed about this game as most of you people on this forums! I can go on and tell you why i lose a huge chunk of my hype, so that it would not turn me into a GTAV maniac, like what most of people around these forums became, but it will take a lot of time explaining the details, lets just say it short - the game didn't turn out initially what i expected it to be! That is why react towards any kind of delays easily, in the end of the day i will still get to play the game, so its not a big deal for me! My biggest concern though is that i lose another two months of fun, which i could spend playing GTAV and now it seems it will get harder for me to get occupied, while waiting for GTAV, since there aren't enough game on the market, that are coming in 2 months time, that would meet my criteria of fun games, so there isn't much for me to kill time on, but it doesn't mean i'm ready to go and get expensive next gen console, just because of that! LOL In the very worst case i can simply occupy myself with games i already played, that have huge replay value, such as Fallout or Skyrim etc...Like i said its not a big deal for me... Just "used" my nephew to get the returning player bonuses on my rgsc account. And waiting for the PC version to actually come. My backlog and 3-digit wishlist on Steam helped a lot on the waiting. Yeah Ill never pre order another game in my life after 2014 ruined the perception of "getting what you pay for". If Im paying AAA prices I expect a AAA game not some sh*t like AC Unity or Watch dogs LMAO. It has a little bit of everything that everybody likes in a game. Strictly a PC gamer but i couldn't wait, i had to buy a PS3 in the first week release. I also bought GTA 5 for it of course, and am going to buy my bro a game for it tomorrow. I enjoy it a lot. I didn't get it just because of GTA 5, but because I haven't played console in 10+ years and have gotten interested again in consoles, and I'm glad I bought it. If the optimization/port is good then I might consider buying it. But most likely will end up picking this game up on a sale (if optimization/port is good, then on 33%, 40% sale, if not then only on 66%, 75% sale.)
