American Viking
I'm quite undecided. I'm on my 5th playthrough of GTA V and I'm right at the end; just finished saving Lamar. Anyway, I know soon I'll need to make the choice between killing either Michael or Trevor or saving them both. The last 4 times I've beaten this I ended up choosing to save them both. I always tell myself that I'll kill one of them off but I can never bring myself to do it because I know once I do I lose that person forever. If I kill Trevor off, it'll be because he's just over the top and I've had about enough of his grotesque nature. If I kill Michael off, it'll be because I'm sick of his self righteous attitude and his family. I don't know. I like both characters a hell of alot more than Franklin, but we don't get that option. A reason to leave Trevor alive is so I can have that "getaway" from city life without it feeling awkward. I don't want to spend all my time in the city and it's awkward going to the country with Michael or Franklin. I can't forget about either character's side missions either... Any help and feedback would be much appreciated. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/761769-is-it-worth-it/ Share on other sites
Terrell
It is a gamble. You take one path in exchange for a different environment. You have 3 stars that have a legion of meteors behind them and supporting each star individually, (Michael, Trevor, Franklin). Cross out M, you cut out everything you achieved with him. Cross out T, everything that he made possible and unique is now disappeared. Either way, their supporters will not console you in your decision, even if they were your family before. I think this happens all too much in real life. Take it this way; It is just a virtual game, yes. But, by rejecting or in this case killing 1 or the other character, you will find that loyalties lie deep particularly for 1 person over another person depending on who is deciding their own loyalty, and where it lies. So it seems you never really had a "crew" where loyalty was the code, thus devaluing family and establishing who your true family was in the first place. For example. Franklin's decision to have Stretch killed because of obvious reasons did not impact Lamar's loyalty to Franklin, even though Stretch was L's only mentor in life. But with other endings you'll see what I mean. Just look online or something if you want to know badly enough, but don't want to perceive being responsible for it in game.
