Your Strange GTAO Rituals

Anyone have any strange Rituals/Habits you do in GTAO?

Don't laugh, but once a week, I give a car to the sea spirit that lives off the end of Del Perro Pier.

I also have a stupid habit of bringing all my cars to the car wash, even though the game cleans them every time you enter your garage.

I do this only 1 time per online session, usually right before I sign off for the day/night.

I will find a session with a battle between crews or randoms(has to be 6 players minimum) go get a Cargobob and find the heaviest/biggest vehicle possible and will douse it with and entire can of gas, then pick it up with the cargobob and take it high above the dots and drop it on them. Believe it or not, I have gotten a kill this way, the guy text me after "Did you just drop a Meteorite truck on me?"

You don't get credit for the kill, it just say 'xxxxx died'

I don't know if these count, but I hate leaving a car in free roam when I quit the game. I must get the car back to a garage before I sign off. you know, so it's not sitting out there on the street. Ha!

 

Also, I always deposit whatever funds I have, then withdraw $500 before quitting.

When I kill one of my friends by accident I kill myself to apologize. When you think about it, it's just a murder followed by a suicide. It's kinda morbid.

 

I will start sacrificing one Faggio per week to appease the almighty sea spirit. Thank you for making sure that Los Santos doesn't become the next Atlantis.

Well I posted this in the guilty pleasure thread and it can be applied here as well. I always have to hit the plastic road dividers by the military base.

 

My aim is to hit every single one, whilst pulling a wheelie on my bike.

 

My strange ritual has a bit of common sense behind the wheel. Whenever I leave my bike somewhere, like outside a shop or when I get a helicopter or plane, I either park it like it's an NPC vehicle, but round the corner from the shop, or leave it in a bush so you can't see it.

 

I just don't want anyone to destroy my baby.

I used to do this too. But I wouldn't sign out until I also had her take a shower, change into sleep clothes and then go to bed. Then when ever i would start playing again the first thing i always had to do was go to the clothes shop and buy a new outfit. I mean whos gunna go on merc mission wearing their sleep outfits huh. AmIright?

Like Forager mentioned above, I make sure to put my car away and bank my cash. I also like to fill all empty garage spots with $36k dubstas.

like said above, i always try and put my car back in the garage... the worst is wanting to leave a session and getting wanted and having to lose them before getting to the garage. i just cant leave my poor guy ou on the streets like that

I constantly change all my weapons to my preferred weapons whenever I join a session.

 

I kinda wish I didn't have to do something like that though, it gets pretty annoying when you enter a fight with a player and you are stuck pulling out the crappy Uzi instead of the combat MG

i do the same thing, as soon as i step out my apartment door... ive dropped some from my inventory bc i hate cycling thru them

Always! I get so mad if I'm riding shotgun with another player and they don't hit them. My boyfriend has learned to turn around and go back if he forgets them when we play together.

I always have to get a five star wanted level by f*cking with the cops.... ALWAYS.... something about getting them all riled up and hunting for you.... I've done it in tunnels, on the trains, the train Tunnels, the spot in the building in Paleto bay, the airport... any where I can melee the cops is good! Not sure why, Maybe I'm releasing some frustration! And to lose the 5 star wanted level, I just go "On Call" to a Survival. Works everytime... The longest I ve had a 5 star wanted level was for an hour and a half.... Crazy I know. LOL

Buy all snacks and armor and ammo but since im broke i stopped playing online for quite a while

I have several:

 

1. I always sell my Simeon Vehicles for both my characters.
2. I always end my session with my character sitting on the couch in their apartment.
3. I always end my session by making sure all ammo is topped off completely.
4. I always make sure all my snacks are on full before ending my session.
5. I always like my vehicles to be parked in the garage when I leave for the night.
6. I always like to level up on my primary with my crew-mate...we try to keep our RP exactly the same to achieve this.

I hate jumping out of planes, over my destination. It just seems unnecessary and lazy.

If I take a plane somewhere, I intend on landing it.

Ever since the Great Cloud Server Woes of late 2013 (remember those? Halcyon days... ), I've gotten into the habit of ending every GTAO session by getting back to my apartment (all cars in the garage, not left on the street), transferring any cash to my bank account, then switching back to single-player via the character select wheel, to guarantee a save trigger.

 

Probably overkill these days, but considering how precarious things were back at launch, it was a case of 'better safe than sorry', and it's stuck as a part of my regular routine.

I can not & will not drive with my headlights on no matter what the situation is. I've convinced myself it makes it harder to see me coming at night & harder to follow during races.
