R* support gifted me 760k

Just thought I'd share this, because I saw some people having this problem and just moan about it. Contacted the support and actually got a lot of cash back.

 

Here's why: Back when I had two garages and drove a car from the second garage in the first one, another car would be automatically moved. Figured it was still the same with three garages, but I have lost 2 cars by doing this and they were nowhere to be found. One was a Coquette, the other a Zion cabrio, both fully performance modded and light visual changes (rims and color).

 

Well, meessaged R* and had to give them infos regarding platform, ID, etc... I thought fine and gave it to them and here comes the tricky part: They want screenshots of the vehicles as proof. Dunno if you can just snap one from SP or so. I just made pics of them on my old Ps3 account (now playing on Ps4) because they were still present there. And tada, I have recieved 760k today and imo that's far more than those vehicles are worth. (Coquette costs 138k+performance mods maybe ~250-300k, Zion half of that) I guess... You could exploit that, but I wouldn't advise it

 

Tl;dr: If you loose cars due to a garage bug, R* is not completely incompetent. Thanks.

Intresting, I don't think I've ever had the problem. Nice of rockstar to give you some compensation though.

I got 2 million from turbo bug. It costs from 50k to 42 k for turbos i went with 50k per car and 40 cars over 2 characters is 2 mill so even though not every single car had turbos removed i got 2 million compensation to replace turbos

hahaha, yea well, I actually thought the same. But then again, the hooker glitch has been some time ago so I thought I'd give it a try

 

 

Also good to hear R* giving other compensations. From what I've heard I thought they were incompetent people, but hey... good first impression for me.

i submitted a ticket about my unknown network errors on ps4. they gave me all the usual port forwarding and dmz bullsh*t...after i proved i had all that set up correctly, they said they thought i might have had an issue when i transferred my character...so they went ahead and rolled back my transfer and i had to do it again. i lost my rank, about 3 million cash, a new apt, 3 or 4 new cars and several bikes, the homing launcher, a bunch of special crate items...

 

long story short, i got everything back, plus an additional 18 million because the retard on the phone didnt understand what i was saying (they truly are dumb as sh*t) i told him i had 18 million and now i was reset back to 15, the dumb ass added 18 million to my 15 million

 

 

edit: also that didnt fix the unknown network errors

Nope. Just the second car I owned. Managed to get it day one and hold onto it till January last year and one day it vanished. After I unlocked all the mids I had it set a certain way and never changed it so it was sad to see it go.

Went to Rockstar support after losing all my Pegasus vehicles before. Submitted a ticket, gave pictures, and even gave them an exact price total for all the lost vehicles, just to be stuck with someone who said they'd "escalate this to the proper department to help"... or something along those lines.

 

That support ticket sat for 4 days or more. Here I am sitting there while other people aren't even submitting tickets and getting instant refunds.

 

I finally got sick of waiting, and I knew the whole "proper department" thing was probably a load, so I continually made posts about my ticket until I finally got someone who was able to instantly refund me about 3 million as a "one-time courtesy".

 

Long story short, don't settle for pointless negotiating after proving what you've lost and at the risk of being left sitting there. Ask for your "one-time courtesy".

Nope. Stats are tied to you GT/PSN. I've linked to three different SC accnts and they all showed my history. Deleting the character you did most of the dirt on can cover up some, but it still shows in your overall.

Back in the car selling glitch day it was the best car to fully do up and sell over and over again.

Only thing I'm worried about isn't the billions, its the money and RP I got from running turn-table races that gave out 1mil per lap and 7k RP.

That stuff still shows, my billions don't strangely.

Yeah, they do eventually get back to you. I lost all my Pegasus vehicles back in the PS3 days and contacted support about it. Two months and several replies later, I got gifted just under 6mil.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I drove my Elegy RH8 into garage and switched it with the Dukes. Then I realised that there was a space missing in the garage when it should have been full, and took me a couple of minutes to realise that my Dukes had disappeared.

 

Opened a ticket on RS support, they asked for my details, then today they gifted me $300 000 (which is more than the Dukes+Mods is worth!) with a "sorry for any inconveniences". I consider that a win!

Well finally they got a explitive filled respone from me. All these "rock star gave me so and so." And just pure hassle for me over a lousy t shirt. I don't even really care to wear it. But i got it fair and square, I want it.
