No Mic's?

Anyone else have trouble finding lobby's with people that have mics?

 

Every once in a while i can find a good talkative lobby but it is rare for me.

We've had this topic before. It's just that sometimes you get plenty people with mics in the same lobby, sometimes not. Anyways check your settings via the inventory to make sure you got chat set to Everyone.

Haha okay I have come across those lobby's sometimes.

 

Party chat does seem to take a lot of mics out of the game.

I think this game is 100x better when there are a lot of mics.

I hardly ever use my mic, but yeah, when I do, I don't always hear a ton of people talking. Too many kids and too many and too many young guys saying nig*a this nig*a that.

same here. i have nothing to say to most players. i do laugh sometimes when i hear them all fighting with each other

People actually want to find lobbies with everyone on their mics? I accidentally went into a session without unplugging my headset after getting out of a private session with friends, and it sounded like I just walked into a very angry kindergarten class.

 

I only bother using my mic if I'm on with friends, otherwise it's off.

I was in a lobby recently with a bunch of players with the crew tag HTLR. They weren't talking or were in a party or crew / friends only.

Every once in a while i can find a good talkative lobby but it is rare for me.

 

Party chat is so much better (as in better sounding) than game chat, it's great especially if we're missions and have to exit to freemode to start a new mission only to be separated. Then we just say in party chat.

 

There's also a bug that even if you set to Crew + Friends, you're still in EVeryone chat. Sometimes switching sessions will correct it, sometimes I've had to leave online completely.

Here's my problem with this, I'm on Xbox one. My real friends really aren't in to GTA and refuse to buy it again. I'm trying to find people to play with in lobbies but no one talks... sucks. I just want to get into races/playlists with a ton of people but end up with 3-4 people who end up quitting after 2-3 races etc... The matchmaking sucks.

I don't understand people where you can hear their entire houshold + game sound. Thanks for letting me know your baby is crying while giving everyone an echo of the game.

Hmm. This debate.

Personally I prefer players with mics. If they're dicks, mute 'n kick. If they're cool, the game usually goes better and I add them.

 

If your assumption is that everybody sucks, you're never going to meet the decent folk. Such as I.

they use kinect which imo shouldn't even be able to be used as a mic. It doesnt noise cancel and echoes like a bitch. Especially with xbox one the freaking console came with a mic use it!!!!

I had a mic on PS3 but rarely used it for anything but moving the kiddie conversations off my tv while still being aware. Now, on PS4, I only use the party chat. It's much better like that.

Have a mic but i wont talk in game chat. Usually in a party with mates.

Since release I've never been in a lobby with more than 2 people talking, and that's rare as it is.
