I highly doubt it will be 'the worst' as DLC vehicles have thus far been solid.

What if they fail( like the retard rooster from family guy) like how in Rooftop sometimes the briefcase randomly destroys itself......... or other similar issues.

 

Would the leader lose his money? Really if they put up a bunch and it fails by no one's account , it would be bunch of bs.

 

 

I can't wait to see how this will pan out lol

I've been wondering something similar. Say you're the money fan, you stump up $500k or however much it is, your minions go off on their side missions only for one of them to have a random network error. Does the hist fail and the money man loose $500k, can the person who dropped out rejoin or can someone else take their place? Probably be a deciding factor on whether or not I bother with hists more than once. I'd like to see how Rockstar gets around this.

 

I don't think you'll lose the invested money upon failure as Rockstar stated that the heist missions will feature checkpoints.

 

We also added trip-skips to allow players to skip longer drives if they have already played the mission as well as carefully balancing checkpoints, with a range of difficulty levels to give players of all skill levels a real challenge.

I think rockstar have been a bit behind with heists with the distractions of the next gen and all the problems they've had with online. So I think we should go easy on them.

 

Just a few days on the breaking wheel then. The hole that Rockstar are digging for themselves is only going to get deeper and more lined with spikes the longer they drag out releasing the heists. For their sake, they need to deliver something pretty damn good, considering the (growing) amount of time they've supposedly put into them.

 

 

I agree with Richard1997Jones here. Would you rather have a completed product, or something that's not finished?

 

I guess quite a few would rather have the unfinished product so they have something to moan about but it's probably better to put up with a slight delay and get something decent don't you think?

 

 

Please don't interpret my comment for impatience. I'm more than content to wait for anything to be a high standard before release. For example, Metal Gear Solid V - I'm glad that it doesn't have a release date, because I know that Kojima Productions and Konami put out quality games. The way that Rockstar are handling the heists and their PR is what makes me concerned.

 

I'm simply saying that I hope that Rockstar are using their their time well. They've strung their community along on the word "soon" for such a long time now that they're almost certain to get flak if they can't deliver something impressive.

 

The quality of their end product needs to reflect on the length of time it has taken them to produce it.

I suspect that the armoured Kuruma might just be a mission-specific vehicle, seeing as it's listed as a sub-mission objective for the Fleeca Bank heist (same goes for the electromagnet-equipped Cargobob). As for PVs, there's a shot of two characters escaping what looks like the Pacific Bank job in a Feltzer, so odds are we'll be using our own cars as getaway vehicles for at least some parts of certain heist jobs.

The social club site is doing that THING again where when you click an article, it diverts you do the newswire site version of the article. I hate that so much.

Not sure if it means a new Social Club article is about to be put up or not. If it is hopefully some new heist info and screenies.

Probably not at this time of the Day.

 

Although if there is no Update tomorrow (Tuesday) I would be expecting some more information about Online Heists or the PC Release as BOTH are just around the corner and R*s handling of Heists/PC Release & GTA Online in generally is turning people away from the game...Certainly no Valentine's Day Update or even a comment regarding the possibility of a Valentine's Day Update has not helped this either as evidenced on their Support Forum.

 

It is about time they communicated with the community and an Update on either of these (Heists/PC Release) would be a good start.

After a 18 months and multiple delays, I think people are well used to it.
