trumpetblast
I have a macbook pro 15inch (Early 2013) Model, are my specs good enough for this game? Me too... going onto various PC hardware websites gives an inconclusive answer such as: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GT-9800-vs-GeForce-GT-650M and my specific PC specs --- i7 @ 2.7GHz, Nvidia 650M, 16GB memory, 500 SSD, Windows 8.1 for those of you quick to dismiss Macs, my 'PC' runs (modded) GTA IV quite acceptably (for me) If GTA V PC runs at a graphical level akin to my PS3, I'll be happy enough to play it like that until I save for a beast of a desktop... minifat
Some of you guys in here are ignorant fools. If R* released the game at the end of this month and it still wasn't optimized well, suffered from bugs and possibly crashes, you'd all cry that R* shouldn't be releasing broken games and that they should've delayed it. BUT when they delay it, you all whine that they delayed it for the sake of you, the player. Delaying a game isn't a f*cking marketing strategy and you can't even pre-order the game yet, so it's not like this is to make more money. Then they should not give out dates they can't meet. Right now I'm waiting for MGS5. It was announced over two years ago. Still no official statement about release except for "2015". This is good since they basically have all the time in the world to make the game, and they can't "lie" to fans. Lying to fans = doo doo.

APB
Hi guys, I`m new here. Since a whole lot of people been asking, I have been wondering if I could possibly run V on low, medium-low with my laptop. Here are the specs: Win 7 64 bite CPU: AMD APU A8-3530MX Quad-Core Quad-Core GFX/GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6620G 8GB Ram What do you think? Will it run on low, medium-low settings? screw4445
Don't think it will run properly on that system. Maybe with everything on low with about 25 fps just like a ps3 version. What kind of fps do you get from farcry4? Well, that's actually what i was hoping for ()... FC4 ran on about ~25fps on medium, low was about ~30fps... I can deal with 25fps, went trough all fc4 with that framerate.

Von_Von
With the recomended specs you will play the GTA3 version of GTA5 on PC. With the minimum specs you will play Pac Man version of GTA5 on PC. Those pictures, and the videos you will see of the GTA5 PC version are taken from a top spec PC, not the minimum or the recomended specs. Aidan D
Sadly GTA V PC got delayed to March 24, 2015! They stated Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March. Personally i think this is a Very Bad move from R*... Without pricing it up in PCPP I'd say that's not a bad deal considering it's a pre built. Think I'll price it up just to see how much the price differs. EDIT: (more edits may come tomorrow) Priced it up and it's not that much more expensive than buying the parts separately. That being said, when you add competing parts to the mix it's different. The 780 is still hitting the £400 mark in England whereas the 970 is less than £300 and it will perform just as well, overclocks better and uses less power. The cooler, meh. With the money saved by getting a 970 you could get a decent 240 cooler or even a thick 120 (like the one I have).. The RAM, I assume they're using a kit from Crucial. There's actually cheaper options at the 16GB 1.6GHz mark. Not that you'd need 16GB of RAM for most things. The PSU... Well I wouldn't put that in my system at all. Without pricing it up in PCPP I'd say that's not a bad deal considering it's a pre built. £1,299 is not a great price for a 4670k and a 780. That's almost $2000 USD. To compare I built my i7-4790k, GTX970, 24GB RAM, etc for about that much.

cnn32
Do you think the game will run with a dual-core processor? I have i7 4500u (dual core, 1.8 - 3 GHz ), but the minimum requirements calls for a quad core processor. Will I work well? Otherwise, I think the graphics card (nvidia 740m , 2gb) is ennough.
