suicidehummer
Any chance in hell I can run it? I have San Andreas and it runs okay, lol. But from what I can tell, I'm pretty close to the minimum requirements... Windows 7 32 bit Intel Core2 Duo P8600 2.4 GHz Intel GMA 4500MHD 4GB RAM (3GB usable) Probably not I'm guessing. Hahahah! You'll be able to open the game because it has DX10 support. And you need to have 64bit OS.
Relative007
@Hummer I am under the impression you need Windows 7 64-bit. As a general question out of interest, does anyone know the typical lead time from a game "going gold" to release (so Production/Distribution times)? Surely the delay was known months ago and for whatever reason R* decided to delay telling the community to within 2 weeks of the release.

You look stupid. Stop it. There's a dedicated thread for specs. Stop coming here asking for help. We should talk about the screens we got. I think you will be able to find a rig like that in Pentagon or NASA old office.

Antontheman
One of the reasons why the specs are so low is almost certainly because they've spent an extra year and a half compatibility testing on as many set ups as possible. It's hilarious how many people in this thread are really angry at them for trying to do something good for their audience. Such ungrateful unappreciative whiny little f*cks. You don't deserve games. Yet you still feel entitled to play and will still buy it anyway. Hypocrites. Yup, they're also not very good at knowing the difference between speculation and facts, telling us that Rockstar is this evil company that doesn't care about their fans nor brand. Nobody knows the real reason why Rockstar delayed the game so I think believing in speculation is just ignorant. Rockstar haven't changed a bit and the lack of communication is a part of their charm. At least they had the balls to delay the game which isn't very common in this industry nowadays.
unknown57
Specs are released so i want to post it again. AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8 GHz AMD Radeon HD7770 GDDR5 1GB 128Bit 8 GB Ram low/medium/high ? which one? (Should be playable of course)
SuperVeloce
I've got an FX-8320 which is slightly less good than the FX-8350... do you think it'll be okay? I was considering upgrading to Intel sometime, to an i7 4790k, but maybe that's unnecessary for this.
Anda7x
Do you think Pentium G3258 on 4.4ghz and Radeon HD7950 (R9 280 bios update) can handle GTA V? The Pentium is dual-core but it's fine with Far Cry 4 (30+ fps on high/very high). Far Cry 4 wants 4 cores, too. Yeah I am sure Decent dual core processors with higher clock speed can run it fine. Mine is actually on-par with the Q6600. http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/499/Intel_Core_2_Quad_Q6600_vs_Intel_Pentium_Dual-Core_E5700.html http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Pentium-E5700-vs-Intel-Core2-Quad-Q6600 So as I said, Dual core with HT shouldn't be a problem at all. Dual core with higher clock speed shouldn't be a problem too. And R* won't definitely hardlock the requirements. Seriously?dammit,my i3 is with ht....i will havê to pray for god help me

rustygun
Yay!! i happy to see the specs R* published. Now i think that i will not need any upgrade to run GTA ps4 like(atleast 30fps) on my pc. I am not that rich that i can own both ps4 and pc so i only have pc i3-4150 3.5ghz 6gb ram Zotac 750ti(Super overclocked myself).2gb vram. fingers crossed for high 30fps @ 1080p. 2months no problem if they promise not to give anything buggy like unity or hardware eater watch dogs. I have good graphic card that meats recommended settings. maybe it will run at 30fps, but will have some hiccups just like watch dogs have while turning vehicle . Should I buy a Zotac GTX 650 Ti at this time? What graphics card is better with the same price? Get 750ti mate, nearly similar pricing and can match 660 in some games when overclocked. oshimapt
really guys? so much hate against R*?? this specs are great! they really are working hard on this game. this dont mean that it will be glitch free, but way better that the predecessor... last thing, this just show that if the developers are focused enough they can make thins work as they should. PC hardware these days are like beasts compered to consoles, even the new gen. so i hope this can be an example for other developers to make decent pc games instead of sh*tty ports. once again, thumbs up R*
