I can't join a session with other people?

For some reason whenever I join a GTA online session I get put in a session with no body else. Sometimes somebody with a bounty will join but they usually leave quickly. I can join with some of my friends but not always. I also often try and and use the "join new session option but that doesn't help. I also went up to my granny's place a few weeks ago and used her internet to play and it worked 100% perfectly so I assume it has something to do with my internet. Please help me out.

It's your local connection, Meaning it's a problem on your side.

 

Have you tried moving the router closer to your console or hard wiring your router into your console via enternet cord?

I sometimes play a fair bit closser to my router but that doesn't seem to help at all but I will probably try using a lan cable soon and see if that helps. I actually think I may have tried it before but Im not sure if it worked.

Have you tried simply unplugging your router and disconnecting from the network on your console and letting the router reboot and than reconnect to the internet on your console after the router reboot?

 

If you have a modem and a router unplug both for about 30 seconds than plug in your modem let it boot up than plug in your router than connect to the internet via your console.

 

Have you tried to play any other online games?

I'm suffering the same problem, but to answer the above post, I can play ANY other game online with no problems (forza, battlefield 4, call of duty, the crew and far cry 4). What's more, if I ever join a job or other activity ingame, I always get "disconnected" by a "unknown error"

 

Moving to xbox one was a mistake. It can't play games correctly, the game variety is boring with half the games on the console being broken (GTA V for example) and not to mention how much it costs

 

Any help to the problem would be appreciated.

Up until yesterday everything was just fine, now its empty lobby after empty lobby. No fixes I've tried have worked so far. Xbox One has been on aggravating problem after another.

 

Edit: That being said, I just tried changing the wireless channel on my router and presto.

I forgot to mention I'm using ps3
