Anyone know if the Zonda R is in the game? Its the main deciding factor towards me getting this game.

 

Looking at the announced car list for FM6 on the Forza Motorsport site, it does NOT list the Zonda R. However, the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is listed, as being available in the game. That's not to say, as well, that the Zonda R may eventually be put into the game, as DLC content, so it's possible that the Zonda R may be added into the game down the line.

Rio is a beautiful track with fantastic scenery, and the Ford GT is just sublime to drive. It feels really good even on pad, in which I really wasn't as good as I am with a wheel, but Turn 10 always make the controls really smooth and easy to use. Can't wait for release. September is a busy month for me with video games. MGSV, FM6, and Mad Max. Really great month to build up mileage for our consoles.

Where are you guys pre ordering from, I have yet to order mine and I'm not doing the digital sh*t, I don't really like it. I'm torn between GameStop and the Microsoft store. I have like 35 dollars of free gift cards to GameStop from Bing Rewards, then the Microsoft store also gives you a 10$ rebate. I'm also thinking of getting the controller but hopefully if I don't I can pick it up after the fact.

I'm going to pre-order with Gamestop. They have a pre-order exclusive for the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, so that got my attention enough. They also have the Audi 2015 TTS Coupe and an exclusive SRT Hellcat car skin that comes with pre-ordering from them. Sure, the Hellcat may eventually get released as DLC down the line, but I would rather have it first day, instead of waiting for who knows how long for it to be released as DLC, if that even happens. Between Gamestop and the Microsoft store, I would definitely say, in my opinion, that Gamestop's pre-order exclusives kick Microsoft's exclusives.

Haven't played too much of it yet, but a tonne of potential here. The variety on offer is staggering.

 

And they brought back the ability to sell cars. About f*cking time!

 

Edit: Additional thoughts;

 

*Miles better than Forza 5. In pretty much every single way.

*Lack of qualifying, even if it were optional, is annoying. AI drivatars are a lot better now so qualifying would have been more competitive than say older games.

*As far as I can tell.. there's no visible progress tracking for race series'. No points leaderboard or anything like that. If there is, I haven't seen it.

*No car clubs... I honestly don't understand why they didn't add this feature. Very minor but nice to have Horizon 2 thing.

Im looking to set up a racing sim rig, but cant decide weather to go with Thrusmaster or the more expensive but more realistic Fanatec, both offering a wheel, pedals with clutch, 7 speed shifter, and hand brake. I dont know anyone who owns either, and online reviews are old and dont offer opinions/reviews with forza

If you are really into Forza racing, I'd suggest you join the Turn10 Forza forum http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/. You get tons of info there. Besides, sometimes you get unicorn car gifted to you when you participate in their Forza events.

I feel ya, I've not yet raced on all tracks, layouts or weather conditions yet myself. Can't not have Mount Panorama there though, it's the quintessential Aussie track.

 

Like Rio too, it has some AMAZING scenic backdrops, from the harbor to the Cristo Redentor.

could you the best one money could buy,but then again that was 15 years ago lol,digging the rain,much improved

from fh2,hardcore lbs is where its at for me though,sucks they changed the PI ,makes my unbeatable fh2 tunes pretty much useless as they're now halfway into the next class,i like the top gear tracks and longbeach,it'll be fun trying to get around nurburgring in the rain without screwing up lol

Just started the game last night and first impressions so far, pretty great. I love the sounds of the cars especially vehicles in special showcase events such as the indianapolis event with the open wheeled vehicles sound amazing at 300km/h. I tried a wet weather track, pretty impressed how the cars react to certain situations. The drivetars though this has been done before do make some pretty interesting situations. So far all together i have played around 2 hours and the game can be pretty immersive especially when you tailor the game to your taste.

I finally got the game as I'm a long tine fan of the series. The new weather effects are amazing IMO. I love how puddles form and you have to try to avoid them so you don't aquaplane.

 

Weather should've been in the series all along. Kind of sucks it's limited to specific tracks though. Was looking forward to wrestling a V8 supercar around a wet Mount Panorama. Oh well.
