Unknown network error/timed out locating session

For the past few days nine times out of ten I get that message. I have tested my connection, and it's completely green aside from a matchmaking service alert that when I last check only effects minecraft. Though some people on the xbox forums think it is effecting everything. Anyone else having this problem?

ive been havin those probs since day 1. I live in Australia n a lot of the time my latency spikes n I get that error n booted to story mode. which I join online AGAIN n that's where I get the timed out msg or I get put into a public lobby by myself. sometimes its good n I can get 5 -6 hrs of game play but I do spend a lot of time trying to get into lobbies but I get booted. imo we are all in the same boat. imo xbox live has trouble talking to rockstar servers.

 

eg if im in a lobby with 20 or more players n there's a lot of sh*t going down (cops, wars, street fights, create drops, etc) I lag out big time. then half the lobby leaves n everything is smooth again so that's why imo xbox live servers cant handle the amount of info coming from rockstar. my internet isn't the best but with smaller lobbies its fine. but once I get that error in connection I hard reset my xbox (hold finger on xbox on/off button on the xbox its self for about 10 sec) let sit for 30 sec, switch on reload gta online n that does the trick. but I know what u mean my record for connection error is 7 time in a 6 hr period

 

also try using Ethernet cable rather than wireless help me out a lot played last nyt for 5 hrs no probs then I got that service alert from xbox live

I have the same problem on PS3 now.

I haven't played online for months. I used to have cable internet at 10 down and 1 up speed and it used to work fine.

Now I upgraded to 60 down and 10 up and I'm getting this BS?

I'm sure it's an "R" problem, not IP Service.

It seems to work fine in a Solo/Invite Only Session.

And They expect people to get a PS4 Version, and pay for PS Plus, and get this BS?

They R too busy counting/spending money!
