You shouldn't be able to move in Passive Mode

I only use passive mode when I'm in between missions and I need to restock on ammo or snacks

 

And even then I still get killed, by idiots running me over or blowing up my car,

 

Still I never use it on crate drops, or HPV,

Now in one session poeople are divided into players in passive mode and out of passive mode. I would like to get into a session with 29 active players, but people in passive mode only waste slots for people that want to actively take part in a session. This is an argument for the idea of separating people into sessions with friendly fire on and off.

Separate but equal. Now in what historical timeline did that work out exactly...? ;)

Nah, I'll just keep trolling the Rambos who have a meltdown when they can't get me in passive, then stand there trying to attack until I come out of passive and waste them and then walk right into my apartment.

OP seriously man, 15 months and you haven't figured a good way to deal with this yet? I'm not going to spam advice that has been given for the last 5 pages. You're a GTA vet focus pal, we shouldn't have to tell you any of this.

You think that people should be able to go to their tanks in passive mode safely, not caring about being killed, and then kill anybody they want? And you think that this is good if people can't do anything to this guy running for his tank? You think that people should wait until a player in tank fire first because it is so much easier to take down a tank than a player that want to take a tank? (Irony off)

You shouldnt design games.

Hello. You shouldn't be able to move in Passive Mode. Passive move has become a strategical weapon for noobs, An example: a noob switch to passive mode, goes for a tank. There is no way to prevent this noob from taking a tank. Passive mode should be for people who need to go to WC or go to drink something etc. You might say that passive mode is useful for people who just explore the world, those people should join to only invite session, not public.

Blow the tank up.

If you read my previous post you would know that I also suggested an idea of creating a seperate sesisons for people in passive mode and without passive mode.

After reading all 5 pages I feel my IQ has dropped by at least 25%. OP stop telling people how to play their game they spent their money on. The game mechanics are what they are. Learn how to deal with them. It is not that hard. I know you probably are not understanding what anyone is saying but seriously passive mode making you a statute is insanely idiotic. Just no. Yes the idea of lobby setups like gta iv would be awesome but that isn't going to happen any time soon. So please just stop with your stupidity and learn to deal with the way things are now. You have several tools at your disposal to handle this situation. There are several posts repeating the same strategies over and over again on how to handle the problem you have.

why not? they can't attack you without leaving passive mode first.

If it bothers you play in a private session with your friends or play solo session. Simple.

IMO, passive mode should just kick you out of Online and back to single-player. And then crash the game. And brick your console. And enlist you in the army - no chickening out from armed combat, no exceptions! :miranda:

Based on how ridiculous OP sounds, I'm going to say that his entire objective here, was to bait everyone into saying how dumb of an idea it is and that it succeeded. Because I really cant wrap my head around anyone seriously thinking that to be in passive mode, you should also be frozen. On the off-chance OP is serious, step up and get over it you child. If someone is in passive mode, just move on with your life instead of getting upset and posting about it on a forum. I still believe this is trollery but I wouldnt put it passed someone to have this idea.

Dumb passive mode topics are the new heist and car appreciation topics. A new one seems to pop up daily.

I have a question for OP.

Lets say passive mode is removed. If someone calls their tank, and you kill them when they are on the way to their tank, what will this achieve?

They are still going to eventually reach the tank and spawn kill you, passive mode or not.
