[SA|SCM] Happy New Heist

'Happy New Heist' is a small storyline containing 4 missions which are fully written on CLEO. If to be more exact, it is using "Mission Pack" game feature.

 

I. Description.

Storyline is an addon to Robberies System. Heroes of the modification take part in this storyline. Also you can find easters regarding more global storyline.

This story tells us about how old buds Richie, Michael and Patrick (group of non-professional robbers-mercenaries) decided to get a big scoop off new year gifts shop in Christmas night. They didn't even suspect what they're supposed to meet on their way to the prize... It's obvious that their skills make them get themselves into stupid situations.

 

 

II. Notes.

* To launch the storyline you need to press New Game --> Happy New Heist.
* To start second mission of a storyline you need to acquire a Burrito vehicle. You can find it close to the mission start point, between the hangars.
* Completion progress is saved automatically. You can stop playing any time. To continue playing the storyline just launch it as suggested before.
* Once you've completed the storyline the game will close and reset the completion setting to the start. That means you can complete the story once again any time!
* You have to restart the storyline to continue if the mission is failed.
* Average completion time ~ 30 minutes.
* Difficulty level as for beta testers - 9/10

IV. Installation.

* Make sure your game is not overloaded by other modifications.
* Copy MPACK folder to My Documents / GTA San Andreas User Files directory.
* Add files from 'gta3.img' folder to gta3.img archive which is at 'game path' / models. You can also use Mod Loader.
* Add files from 'data' folder to data folder which is at 'game path' / data.
* Make sure you have CLEO 4 or higher installed.
* Add files from 'CLEO' folder to CLEO folder located at 'game path' / CLEO
* Add files from 'audio' folder to audio folder located at 'game path' / audio.
* Launch the storyline as mentioned in (II).

 

V. Reviews of beta testers.

During beta testing process, testers have expressed their critics regarding modification. I want to show you these reviews.

I'll make it short. Dialogs are interesting along with the story, even through it is short. There are adventure and action in this storyline. Some elements of comedy are contained there. I was quite expressed that you can make police spikes appear and turn off the lights, and also make a character walk like if you was on burglary submission. Wish I could write missions in CLEO like that). There were no mistakes in texts; all good if you ask me. Stuff is described really good, some phraseologisms used. Seen no bugs but that bug when you crash if you see a map in pause menu during mission 2, but I think it's my game problem. I liked the end, especially I liked that our team is credited)
