Does the Assassination missions stock market work on PS4 & XB1?

I heard some players over this forums and other places says that you can't get the amount of money like on the last gen? does it work for you? I didn't try yet.

So it's useless to invest on stock market between the missions? or it will earn you money but not that high amount?

 

Also is there a better way to make money on gta v? because i heard that you could get more money easier.

You can still make a lot of money on the assasination missions but it's much more interactive with your actions this time around. I know that there is a window in the game where you can make a lot of money investing in Merryweather and causing mayhem.

I seem to be having an issue with this on PS4, after having completed the Hotel assasination I'm still desperately waiting for Betta Pharmaceuticals % to be affected at all, it just sits at 0.03 and doesn't ever go up to the presumed 21% share when you are supposed to sell. Anyone had this happening ?

Finished the story with almost 50 million, then got way beyond 2.1 billion with every character, following the old guide on new gen. It just stops showing you the amount at 2.1B, so I can't tell exactly how much it is. For two of the missions, it took me about an ingame week until the return percentages were promising. So you must be patient.

I can confirm that it still works (perhaps not as well). In fact, on my first playthrough on PS4 I managed to get each character over a billion each. I hardly find it worth my time to do that though unless I'm going for 100% because, by the games end and final heist, our characters will have plenty of money.

If any stock drops (post mission of course) then does it regain up? all my character have like 270 - 300 millions only. Some done correctly and some didn't done it right.
