Save game gone? (PS4)

Ok so during the xmas , I attempted to play GTA online. I did not connect and I found out about the attacks on the PSN after not connecting. But my problem is this. After not connecting to the online servers on xmas, the game through me into the 1st mission. It asked if I wanted to save the game, but I chose not to since I was already about half way through the single player and didn't want to lose progress. So now every time I load up the single player, it throws me into the 1st mission every time. However, I can still pause and go straight into the online without completing the mission. I checked my load files, and there's no file there to load. I'm going to guess my save game file got deleted.

It sounds like your save file was corrupted.. which has happened to many since the Festive patch.

 

You'll have to replay the entire game again sadly, make sure to keep multiple saves this time though since there are plenty of game breaking bugs that stop you from advancing the story or getting 100%, and this is one of them.
