is it possible to change the aircraft 'yaw' control to the rig

drives me nuts having non-analog control of the yaw, especially in a chopper :/

looked in the control settings for aircraft, but it seems there is no option... unless I'm missing something.

It wouldn't make sense because when left, right, up, and down are usually affecting the top rotors you can tilt it diagonally, you would go in the diagonal direction. It would be WAY to complicated if left and right were yaw and up and down were still directional.

huh?...

the right thumbstick dude... think about it.

Isn't L1/R1 yaw? In planes at least?

yes.. and that's what I don't like... you have no analog control... you press it and it means 100% yaw, left or right... I'd love a right stick, yaw control option.

Like someone said you can lightly tap L/R1 for pretty much an analogue effect, but it looks jolty on the outside view.

Problem with Right stick being used for it, is the fact it would mean we cant "look", I had my ps3 pad connected to my pc for flight sim and used right stick for Yaw (and the nose adjust) and had look assigned to the 8way cursors, but obv we cant customise things in gta!

Bottom line though, considering its gta and not flight sim, i manage without analogue yaw.

with you on this 100% Loki, thats how i have it setup on BF4 for flying, left stick moving, right stick for yaw, left button for flares and right button for firing
Makes shooting from helis and jets infinitely more accurate

Fun fact: In GTA:IV you could get that analog control by using the "classic" control confuguration, but I haven't found such option in V yet.

Being skilled with the buzzard at flying and firing, these controls would be hard af to handle. Considering i have to hold either r1 or l1 down to do a quick turn, having a joystick to hold for yaw would be more complicated. Buttons are easier for yaw, thats why they are the way they are.
