I have this friend

I have this friend,

He has black hair,

He went insane,

Too little care.

 

I told him no,

But he said yes,

Time went by,

No time to guess.

 

And in his presence,

You feel his emotions,

So broad yet shallow,

No time, just frozen.

 

I guess right now,

As I would guess before,

That his life meant something,

But he could not recall,

A happy moment or different day,

He ended it all,

A life wasted away.
