Passive/god mode glitch

 

1. its a problem and rockstar needs to fix this a week ago.

 

2. I've seen about a dozen people do this up close with my own eyes.

 

3. if you don't know what it is - they are transparent in passive mode but can still shoot and kill you. all you need to know.

 

4. lets just have this thread get some replies and hopefully rockstar will see it and get a fix out sooner rather than later.

R* doesn't care. Similar problems exist on PS3 since forever, R* knows it & when someone complains about the subject their "solution" is "Give us proof that a specific player did that & we'll deal with him".

Steps to avoid passive mode glitchers.

 

1. Enter passive mode.

R* doesn't care. Similar problems exist on PS3 since forever, R* knows it & when someone complains about the subject their "solution" is "Give us proof that a specific player did that & we'll deal with him".

 

Showing them will be easy on PS4 (not sure if XB1 has a similar feature or not). With the Share feature, accessed directly through the button to the left of the touch pad, you can upload a recording of the past several minutes to YouTube.

PS4 here. Saw one the other day: you can technically kill them by shooting their gun or hands. I'm not sure which because I was sniping at distance and just aiming at his hands on the gun. I've heard of the glitch beforehand and wanted to see if this solution worked.

I've seen it a lot lately while playing, i was just roaming around and sometimes trying to get 5 star wanted then evade it so i can get the gta online awards (don't ask why...) and they was like following me around that i had to put my self on Passive mode to protect myself but that prevent me from shooting weapons.

 

PS4 BTW.

Next time i must use that share button to save video's and proof's.

For the last time, it's not god-mode if you can kill them, it's a passive mode glitch!

Hmmm...the only thing that I can think of is 2 guys in a car, the driver is in PM but the passenger isn't which allows him to shoot from a transparent vehicle.

Explosions can still kill them along with shooting their hands, according to Seven Sins.

 

 

Perhaps you should also mention which console you're on.

 

It's on Xbone and PS4.
