Not Joining GTA Online Public Session

Whenever I play Online, I can never JOIN a public session. Even if I choose 'Join Friends' or 'Join Crew Members', I start my own PERSONAL public session. People are able to join my session, but it takes hours to even get 10 people! Can anyone help? I'm on Xbox One with a wireless connection.

Wi-fi can be weak as piss, which causes bad connections and bad connections usually lead to lonely sessions.

Yep use a Network cable. I can't even connect my ps4 with wlan/wifi and when it works it has a really bad Connection

When using Wi-Fi you need to assign each device(phone, TV, pc etc)with its own static IP.

 

I'm wired with no firewall BTW.

Seriously though wifi is hit and miss. For me I don't have any issues, other than I'll probably develop brain cancer before I'm 60, with all the wifi signals in my house. But take the advice from others, an ethernet cable is the way to go for connection stability.

Yep...

Wireless generally are stuck on the older 54mb/s systems, but ethernet can carry gigabit speeds without an issue (1000mb/s+).

Your NAT settings will affect who you can and can't connect with. NAT 3 is worst, 2 Better, 1 Best (for gaming
