When would you use the AP Pistol?

I sometimes use it for close quarters and always use it for drive-by's. It's high firerate makes it easy to get headshots + the ammo is cheaper. It's a very good gun!

Blind fire from cover sometimes or rapidly changing targets, I choose it over Combat MG or a rifle sometimes.

Its the best gun to use in a vehicle but I don't think there's any situation where another gun isn't a better choice while on foot, from a Free Aim perspective anyway.

Its actually really good for CQC. Almost op for drivebys. I wouldn't use it in any other situation. I use the .50 cal silenced pistol for stealth close combat.

The OP pistol is the ONLY pistol I keep in my weapon wheel, as you are partially right....every semi-auto pistol in the game is weak, whereas the auto fire on the OP pistol is the bees knees.

The OP pistol has a damage rate that is leaps and bounds over many other guns in this game IMO.

Meh. Everything has its use. When you got assault rifles, light machine guns, combat shotguns, sub machine guns, and other heavy weapons a semi automatic pistol isn't going to compare but it doesn't mean they suck.

 

I've always liked pistols in video games and in life so while they don't pack the punch or the fire rate of other weapons doesn't mean from time to time I don't enjoy using a simple side arm.

 

As far as the AP pistol goes its a great weapon to use in a variety of situations.

I usually use it any time where I need to fire short to medium range when accuracy counts and I don't want to waste an excess of amount of ammunition.

only times i use the AP Pistol is to lower my car,never really used it in combat to much,, but by going on some of these comments it seems i maybe should use it more often ^^ wasn't aware it had the highest DPS^^

I love it, its far better than the Uzi in a vehicle. My opinion of course, I use it sparingly in free roam or missions.

 

I have found it to be very effective for missions in which you have the "kamikaze" NPCs who just run straight to you. Its a sure headshot, and then swap to your favorite mid-long range weapon for the more intelligent sharpshooting NPCs.

I use it when my ex-wife's comes to drop off my Daughter from her visitation and she fails to return ALL my Daughter's clothes.....or whenever my ex-wife pisses me off. OH....AND when people cut me off during rush hour in traffic. AND when people get in line at the gas station and take three weeks to pick out two lottery tickets!

When not in a vehicle, but when I'm in the creator, I'd pair the APs up againt the Carbines, APs are better than AKs and SMG's

 

Also in freemode if you've unlocked the AP just go ahead and drop yer UZI cause It's just not got the range or accuracy and you already have enough weapons to cycle through!

Its beats the Uzi on foot now doubt, but when shooting at a vehicle, you're going for a headshot anyway, so does it really make a difference what you choose when shooting at a target in a vehicle? because the fire rates are almost the same.
