Weapon Accuracy Reduced

Recommended Posts

Anyone noticed how the accuracy of some weapons had been severely reduced at a range?

Weapons like the Carbine rifle are complete garbage at any sort of distance and it makes landing headshots all the more difficult cause the bullets are going everywhere except where you want them to.

What pisses me off even more is that with this nerf in range they left AI Accuracy right where it is so they can still snipe you from 50 miles away with Combat MG's while you have to empty half a damn clip just to kill one guy 20 feet away cause of the pathetic range.

It makes modes like survival all the more harder cause when you get caught in a gunfight with multiple enemies at any sort of distance they always beat you now cause while you're emptying a whole clip just to kill one guy they all just headshot you in half a second and die.

Due to the crappy range we have now it means it takes longer to kill each enemy since you cannot dependably land headshots while the AI enemies can take you out in half that time or less.

So now not only are they more accurate than us, they now maintain that accuracy at any range while we are limited to barely 10 steps in front of us, its completely unfair.

I am a guy who liked to headshot enemies in free aim beyond the range of the aim bot we are given, which is now impossible.

To not be able to even headshot enemies now at mid-range consistently is maddening cause I despise spraying my enemies with bullets when I can just put one in their head and be done with it.

Due to how freaking accurate the enemy AI is, it was essential to put down enemies quickly with headshots before you were overwhelmed, so what are we suppose to do now? I feel so gimped and weak in this game now its ridiculous, I never felt so vulnerable and weak in a Gta game like this till now.

Rockstar is just increasingly trying to make this game harder to force us to buy shark cards, and they are making it harder in the laziest, cheapest ways possible.

Crawdaddy Deluxe

The only thing accuracy wise that's messed up is aiming at a non police helicopter with a sniper rifle, it will let you aim without zooming until you zoom too much and it disappears from you aim

I noticed this while trying to snipe some sh*thead out of his buzzard! Thought it was just me. Buncha bullsh*t

I just mentioned the Carbine as an example wise ass, the entire automatic rifle class is what I was talking about and used the Carbine as my chosen example. Anybody who been playing this game extensively and recently should easily be able to notice the accuracy reduction at a distance, even the crosshairs is spread a little wider to represent a loss of accuracy.

Before that the crosshairs was much tighter, indicating a greater accuracy.

Any player worth their salt who played the game extensively would notice that such weapons are now leaving much to be desired when it comes to getting great accuracy at mid-range and farther. The weapons are almost acting like different weapons entirely now.

As for me though I do prefer the Carbine because I prefer accuracy and range over damage output, it does not need higher damage output if all the rounds are going in the target's head which results in increased damage anyway. I faced many a player using every other Automatic Rifle in the game and I had beaten every one with my trusty Carbine.

Plus if you truly understood this game you would know that no one automatic rifle is better than the others, that weapon class is actually pretty neck and neck and each one specializes in a particular situation. I find the Carbine to be best for me personally in most gunfights with other players because I end up fighting them at greater distances than what the other automatic rifles are effective at.

Course as I said in my previous post I am talking about a loss of accuracy across the board, though multiple weapon classes. Though its mainly felt in the automatic rifles class, which is usually the go to weapon class for most combat situations except for close range.

In the past I found it easy to land headshots at great distances, including free aim and shooting enemies way off in the distance, but now its a challenge to land headshots at even half of the distance I normally would have. The huge reduction in accuracy is easily noticeable.

Now if you're not here to actually discuss the topic at hand and just another loser looking for a means to get their ego stroked, go bother someone else and let the adults speak.

I guess it's just the imbalance that makes you feel weak.

f*cking AI can blindshoot the tip of your head with a handgun from hundred meters away doesn't matter what objects in between. Tell me that's not overpower. Not to mention ninja pop up style to bust your ass before even their symbol appears on mini map.

I've been taking my Buzzard to RR for like 8 months now lol

I save on ammo, don't die, and get the extra RP by flying ahead and killing the guys at the farm. The Buzzard is the ultimate personal vehicle for missions.

Carbine Rifle is my trusty gun, it's worked out really good for me, the only gun I see that has no accuracy at a distance is the Combat MG, but also you should learn to fire your gun in bursts ;) another thing you can do is do a recoil test, find a good spot with a good distance between you and a wall then fire away.

The carbine rifle has always been garbage. Any sane and experienced person knows that the Special Carbine is the best Assault Rifle.

Amateur.

The real stats for the Carbine Rifle and Special Carbine are completely identical. The stats shown with those stupid bars are lying to you.
