Whats the Highest Rank in GTAO?

I want to know whats the highest coz i just saw a guy/gal with a rank of 6081 .

Only way that rank 6081 is legit OP is if we're in the year 2066. Even then I'd probably still be skeptical basically because of the amount of RP that it takes to go up levels the higher you get. Seriously either that's a stupid modder who doesn't care, and wants everyone to know. Or it's a person that paid for a service to have their account edited to that rank which in turn is also stupid.

A better question would be, what is the highest legit rank. Id guess by now it is possible to have reached around 1200.

^^Very possible, but only if that person does missions, and competitive modes religiously with spending as little of a time in free roam as possible. Also anyone over the 1000 mark who is legit has 170-220 plus days of game time. I've seen maybe 8 legit including supernova-girlie.

Totally understand that DJS, give you a better example, I know someone who is a legit rank 1040 with close to 180 days of game time. Rank 1000 rounded off is 47 million RP, rank 1040 is 50.5 million RP, just going up those 40 levels is like a person who just started going from rank 0-165.

yo 6000 that's some serious hemorrhoids! No, but seriously, I don't think anything 1500 and over is possible for the next six months. A player would have to get online, and go from mission to mission, from sunup to sundown.

 

It takes more RP to rank up each time you rank up. With the current mission payout system in place, they've made sure that any person that made their character around the Flight School Update, will have to play for one year and a half to reach rank 1000. Those of us that are there or very near are not getting any special goodies, because the double RP/$ weekends and the original mission payout system are considered our special goodies.

It makes you a target. Sometimes when I notice a high level player I wanna see if I can kill him.

8000 is the cap level for GTA Online. Judging from the age of GTA Online itself and the current amount of given RP after you successfully completed any kind of jobs, reaching that cap level is impossible at the moment. That fact of course, exclude modders and hackers.

Or they just used the mission "cleaning the cat house" or "welcoming party" like almost everyone did. People seem to forget that.

I'm 451 on my first character and 131 on my second. I haven't ever cared about the rank since reaching level 120, but since I like the game, it just adds up naturally. If someone is really eager about RP, I think 1200 is possible as Stangone50 noted.

second character, mostly RR/MUWC, High Value cars, etc. I do notice that when you access bank account on atm or laptop it is actually slower if you have billions of dollars. just slightly slower in loading, but noticeable...

Actually the rank was still capped at 1000 when that was going on. As I mentioned anyone who is above 1000 legit has 170-200+ days of game time depending on how much time is wasted in free roam. Now if someone was rank 1000 and under the specified time I mentioned, say 60-90 days of game time, then I would assume some trickery like you've mentioned was involved in attaining the rank.
