TheMcSame
*revives thread* A touch off topic (but I've already complained about bad gaming communities) but the metal community is pretty bad. This video seems to do a good job of explaining it from 1:22 and onwards, some of it is a touch irrelevant but it does the job. xXepicjasaXx
i think the COD community is one of the worst, full of youtubers, successful and the growing and then you have the 6 year old kids who talk to them selves on their mic, the people who play music through their mic and then there is those people who are not squeakers and just play the game. But the community seems to be better on ps4 and xbone. Also i forgot about the hackers with aimbot and the ones who reset your level -_- Niko Montana

bloatedsack
They were probably attracted to the current gen GTA O by the scent of first person shooter software. Shadowfennekin
Worst definitely goes to League of Legends. Tried it out and immediately quit within the same day. Toxic community. Best...... hm, probably Watch Dogs. I've never gotten hate messages on that. Fireman
Some of the best one for me are; Carmageddon Webmasters Alliance - Great bunch of guys still playing 15-year old games and making mods for it. StrategyCore - People who play RTS and TB RTS are just cool people. Also there's still a bunch of great mods in development for games that really have no other modding activity outside of this forum. One of the worst is Twinkinfo, a twink in a MMO is someone who wants to be the best at a certain level and thus gets the most expensive and hard-to-get gear for that level. However, ego's clash every second on these forums because of the "I'm better than you"-attitude. It is FUN to read, but it's not a good community, can barely get anything done. Wastelander (Suzuki)
I remember Midnight Club LA and Grand Theft Auto IV had good online communities, except for some mods here and there. The worst are COD and Grand Theft Auto Online. the problem with GTAO's community is that too much of a huge chunk of it came from CoD. Just going to bring this topic back to life. I remember when NFS had a good community many blue moons ago... Now it is nothing more then a collection of retards mindlessly defending the steaming pile of s*it of an arcade game that is NFS2K15. Darius actually did have this "evil king" type feel to him. then again, this was back in the day where EA didn't forget about putting actual storylines in the NFS titles... back then, the characters had personalities and reputations. now, it seems like just a bunch of braindead dudebros who have no business being behind the wheel of a car. i'll probably keep the music off in this game, granted i ever do get it. i remember NFSU2's soundtrack. now, THAT one had some well picked songs. it had a decent selection from just about every major genre. honestly, NFSU2 had it all, decent music, awesome graphics (for it's time), a good variety of cars, LOADS of custom mods, almost too many to choose from at that (which was great, because it made the possibilities feel endless), and most importantly, the ability to choose between automatic and manual transmissions... this game looks like it tried to go the way of being what we'd expect to be Underground 3, but it totally half-assed it and did certain aspects completely wrong. Bratva Assassin
The best would probably have to be the old school Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto communities, as well as the Assassin’s Creed community. Perhaps I’m just saying that because that’s what I’m a member of. Lol 😝 The worst would have to be communities like Pewdiepie, Tobuscus, or any other community where they play video games from in a square on the right or left hand side of the screen. I also despise the FNAF, Minecraft, and Roblox communities.
zeko
I have to mention worse more than the best: Best: MTA: I just like the racing, deathmach and freeroam. It does have some bad players though. SA-MP: There comes the SA-MP. It's just beautiful. Farming Simulator 2015-2017: No bad players, multi-player was just great, farming, getting wheat and other things... Worst: Call Of Duty: I am fan of the game but only the first, second and third were my favorites. The new COD WWII, just didn't felt great. Like 11 year old kids rage when someone shoots him with a MG42 or a BAR. Gun incorrections made me sell the game for 10 denars Macedonian money) Like, putting a stripper clip in a sniper rifle? Pfft. Battlefield: The new Battlefield V, didn't felt good as the Battlefield 1, I loved Battlefield 1 (but I sold it) when you use the Luger pistol and be a German then you're a real beast! Not like the Battlefield V, you shoot until he dies, medics barely help you. I miss BF 1942, Vietnam and Battlefield 2. They were great. Fortnite: Full of 10-12 year old kids that rage when you shoot him with an SCAR, or a sniper rifle then they got (OMG WHAT THE HEECK HOW DID HE KILLED ME) I was hearing that when I played Fortnite, then I realized how wrong I was. Pewdiepie, MrBossFTW, Noughtpointfourlive: Those people didn't made me happy, well except for Pewdiepie but then he was boring again with his "Poppy Harlow" thing. MrBossFTW, Noughtpointfourlive, those are silly clickbaiters who care about money and nothing. How cool. ROBLOX: This game is becoming a disaster, I don't recommend any kid playing it. ANY KID, NEITHER A GROWN PERSON. It's full of Online Daters, pedophiles, child predators and 11-12 year old kids that think they are "rich" so they buy ROBUX for nothing. ROBLOX, you're greedy for money. Eh? And some Youtubers like Denis, Poke, Tofuu, are just some clickbaiters like (OMG I FOUND GUEST 66 NOT CLICKBAIT) and other things. Shame to them, well, except for Denis. But his community is also bad and full of kids.
Uncle Sikee Atric
The best for me is the community built around the Truck Sims, Euro Truck Sim 2 and American Truck Sim. The modding community is great, tends to work together and has an extensive knowledge base of modders, designers and pack builders, all working together to make as much as possible meld in game. Right down to different map builders trying to not step on each other too much so differing map packs can plug together as much as possible. There's also great feedback and bug fixing, plus plenty to try out, add and enjoy ingame. The worst community is the community multi-player for the truck sims! Now I know a lot of people will balk at that, but the MP servers are full of idiots who mess it up for everyone else and they never improve their behavior, the 'main sim server' has a ban list longer than the ban list on this forum. It's a shame though as some of the extras that come with MP are great, like the interactive satellite map showing every driver location per server, but it's just too full of kiddies and trolls to actually enjoy trucking on them. Guest Billy Russo
Best: Destiny (at least in my experience). Even though I've soured on that game, people were super helpful on their sub-reddits, and I had a lovely 'Sherpa' (they call it) that showed me how to do all the raids. Just a really nice patient guy. He enabled me to get more out of the game, and gave me a good impression of their community. Warframe. Same as above, it's a really confusing game, and a lot of people are willing to help out new people. I really appreciate that. Worst: Call of Duty - Horrible voice chat, toxic gamers that are really sore losers, annoying kids and I've got plenty of messages that I'm "cheating/hacking" because I owned their ass. GTA Online - Not the forums, people are great on here, just the game itself. So many asshats that just shoot you all the time, blow you up, and be toxic dicks in Missions/Heists. I mostly do everything solo now. Can't stand Open Sessions. Edited August 22, 2018 by Billy Russo
