what's your favorite way of dealing with players who follow you or treat you like a taxi?

when i get a follower in free roam i try to out drive them and lose them.

but if i get a player who runs to my car thinking i'll drive them around (i used to offer rides but i don't anymore), i'm no taxi service!

i just drive away from them or kick them, i once found a player in my car once after buying ammo at a gun store, i kicked him out!

I get out of my car my and look at them. Not moving or saying thing, I just stare at them while in that wonderful current gen passive mode.

 

If on foot, I turn around and do the same.

 

Best part is when some warrior type starts throwing sticky bombs and such. Just wastin' the moneys. Makes me giggle.

Drive to a tactical location and get out and engage suspect with lock on awesomeness. Then I'll keep em away with the sniper.

I either kill them, or toot my horn to let them know Im friendly, or just try lose them

First I drive in such a way that it is easy to tell if they are following.

 

Then I'll fire a few warning shots, usually take a tyre out if it's not a PV.

 

If they still follow me I'll warn them with a sticky but not blow them up.

 

If they still follow, pull round a corner, jump out and auto shotty to the face, then drive off

I start following them as well,if their in my car unwanted I head for the hills, can't call for your ride in the hills

I get off my harley

I blast the follower with the auto shotgun

and I get back on my harley.

Ironically, it's been happening to me more often, especially when I drive my JB700.

I usually just out-drive them. It happened twice yesterday, once when I was riding the Carbon RS and the second time with the JB700.

 

With the Carbon RS, I drove around the same block about six times before heading down a straight road, leaving a proximity mine behind and blew up my pursuer. Subsequently, in the same session, someone was following me when I was driving the JB700. He was following in a Zentorno with the driving skills of a special needs child; couldn't keep up to save his life and kept crashing into everything. I had time to kill a bounty around the block and set a map marker manually before he finally caught up, crashed into a tree and lost me once again as I drove off.

Pull into an alley or narrow road of some kind. Drop a sticky bomb behind me. Keep driving forward slowly while looking back. Enjoy the boom, and the subsequent tears.

This hasn't happened to me since the GTA4 days. And now with the new passive mode, it's really unlikely anyone will make me feel followed. There's just so much more to do now and I like doing missions and such.

Sometimes if im online with my buddy, one of us gets the cargo Bob while the other entertains the guy who wants to get driven around or the guy who randomly tags along. Once the car is hooked up to the cargo we drop the car or kick the guy out of the car into the military base lol

I'll keep turning down a few blocks and if they still come at me I just let loose a sticky bomb and carry on.

confirm they are actually following me by going down a few corners. If they're still following, I drive down a narrow alley and drop a proximity mine then go about my day

I try to out drive them. If I'm trying to do something & they're being a nuisance I'll park up round a corner wait for em & kill em.

If someone is following me, I just keep driving. And if someone thinks I'm a taxi I get out of the car and run to the passenger side. I show them what its like to drive others around.

It depends on if they're just following me or trying to kill me while they follow. If they're not trying to harm me I'll go to my apartment and hang out for a little while or fly off in my Flying Bravo. If they're trying to kill me then I'll kill them a few times before leaving them alone. Unless it gets bad, but that's what the 'Find new session' option is for.

Haha its funny you asked because last night i was trying to get a special crate and some random jumped in my buzzard so i landed on eclipse towers and got out. When he got out i got back in and took off leaving him up there. If they are following me while im driving, i just outrun them. If i cant, timed reverse sticky bomb.

Hard turn either left or right and into an obstacle Stalker cannot penetrate as too ensure I will not be run over, step out of vehicle and shoot them dead.

 

 

I only do that if they shoot at my car and damage it like its rear lights, otherwise I just outdrive them

Works everytime unless they are faster then anticipated....but then they generaly just come back and you get a second chance

I'm rarely followed by other players because sticky bombs seems to be flying out of my car everytime they get close, if someone in passive mode happen to find his way inside my car though, i'll try and park next to a ledge and kick them out.

Step 1 - Pull over & get out then shoot driver as they approach with combat mg then get back in my car & drive on.

Step 2 - If they are fool enough to follow again then repeat step 1.

Step 3 - If they still insist on following then use sticky or proximity mines to blow up car.

I make a lot of random turns so that there's no doubt they're following me. Then if they continue I'll get a decent distance from them, whip around a corner, and be waiting with my auto shotty. Sometimes I just say eeef it and throw a sticky.
